I have undiagnosed ADHD because my parents don't want me to get diagnosed with mental health problems, they want me to heal naturally which I don't believe if it's going to work. I have to save myself on my own, no one's gonna help me So I am just trying my best to get back on track and start studying in a different way which is ADHD friendly. Let me start applying this mindmap method in my studies. I really appreciate you for sharing this method in such a detailed way. I think this can help me a lot! Thank you so much :)
Honestly this is one of the most detailed videos about making diagrams about topics 😊 I’m still in the process to send you some questions about mind maps for a future course
your the only person on you tube who explains how to study(everything the studying process encompasses) in detail to the fullest . ur underrated but I believe ur channel will grow !! keep going
What came to mind watching your video is that you’re dealing with small topics at once for the différent overall topic and not overflow concepts. That’s why it works. The human brain is finite. This methodology takes advantage of that.
What a Detailed Excellent video !! ❤👌. I havent seen such detailed mindmap video in youtube . Beautifully explained as always ❤👌 You are a life saver for all students across the world watching this 🙏
I am learning the updated Apple ecosystem. Your video has given me an idea. How are calendars, reminders, and Notes connected? What about other apps? I will ponder these questions as a possible future mind map.
Hi Zain! your videos helped a lot to get me in the top of my class, so thank you so much :]. Also the idea of making a mind map for more procedural subjects such as math, physics or chemistry sounds cool, I'll be waiting for that one, and again thank u Z!
Another excellent video 👏 1. Regarding grouping terms and relating the concepts: the same chapter could be organised by "origin of disease" or "cause of disease" as the central idea. In such cases, how do u decide about grouping and linking the concepts? 2. The way your grouping the terms can reveal the central idea. But it's also possible to come with a central idea and then proceed to group the concepts accordingly. What's the best method?
the best method is the one, that is the most intuitive for you. There is no general best method in this context, because everybodys brain has different prior knowledge. you have to test the possible ways and then decide which one is better for you.
I would like to see a video about how you'd tackle stem subjects like chemistry, physics, and calculus, I don't think mind maps would be effective for subjects like that, there has to be a more effective method for classes like that, but for the life of me I just can't see it, I mostly just do a bunch of practice problems lol. Have a good one zain
Math is the absolute perfect example for using mind maps. Using mind maps for math changed everything for me. There is no other way then linking concepts together to understand and use math
hi! sorry to bother you but do you think this method is effective for pharmacology or any tips you have to learn it? i am really grateful for your videos, i learn a lot from you and always see the great effort you dedicate to teach us. Greetings from México!
Can you make a video on how to effectively study the learning objectives because sometimes they can be very vague and I don’t know how to answer them in the best way
Hi Zain - approximately how long does it take to finish a 50 pages of materials using your methods - for example for a typical biology textbook, wouldnt this take a huge amount of time, for me it takes around 1 hour for 3-4 pages ( as in each page is extremely content rich )
studying university math is EXACTLY by linking Concepts together. There is no better Example for this. To be able to proof things, you must be able to draw from basic concepts and how they affect other concepts, or how new concepts are derived from those basics. You must understand, that there is no other way for Math to be understood well.
@@Rayane-je5jy You gotta go very slowly. Englisch is not my first language so its difficult for me to use math examples, I will try to give you a translation of my approach with chat gpt: I’m studying computer science and currently focusing on Analysis. The first chapter is about the real numbers. In this chapter, we start with the axioms of real numbers and then prove every small property step by step. Here’s my approach: I begin by picking one of the basic concepts-these are the easiest to understand. I learn the concept thoroughly and then look at the consequences derived from it. After that, I work through exercises related to this concept. This means that I now know this concept and its applications. Next, I move on to the next concept, which I study and try to understand. At this point, I think about the first concept and check for similarities. I review the applications of the first concept and compare them to see if they are related to the applications of the new concept. I go through each proof in detail, paying close attention to how the concepts I’ve learned are applied. And this, I believe, is the key to math: understanding the applications and different forms of each concept. Only when you know the foundations from various perspectives can you place new ideas into these familiar contexts. This is exactly what Zain always emphasizes: integrating new knowledge into your existing knowledge structure.
I am also a third year student. I have a question brother. How much information should I put in the mind map. Sometimes, a few infos are hard to put in the mindmap. What should I do about those?
@@zain_asif like in geography please create topic over climatology , history about world wars ...I m from India ...send you too much love from India 💖💖
Anyone know any youtube channels like this that caters to cybersecurity? I want to see how other cybersecurity students do their notes and try to relate TIA
@@misspumpkin5427 Nothing is wrong bro(for me), but not for a man who left medicine and devoted 10 years of his life in Learning science (which is now his full time job) to develop his method doesn't get his credit 👍👍
