Thanks for the Video, It was so useful I have a Doubt? Why are you seperating the soil sample by two opposite direction? If it is for equal separation that can be done by halfing the sample not by quartering????

In a selected portion of land say 1 hectare, should we collect soil from multiple points say 4 or 5 by v method and mix all of them before sieving & quartering. ?
This is not a proper way to take sample. The soil should never be touched with hands. Hands may have sweated (salts) wich may give a very difrent reading on the result.
as well as at the time if collection of soil samples don't use spade or any other metal material, Please use wooden stick or any other non conductive material....!
