Be sure to keep your back to a wall while waiting for your train. Don't get shoved in front of incoming train.

i've read on the metro card website that the week access card is restricted to certain services. is it really the smartest card to get for a visitor who might need to take an express or AirTram?

+21bahamas If you use the card 4 or more times a day then its worth it. I don't need it as I use the subway twice a day to get to and from work.

Real way to ride the subway : 1. Find a stair that goes down or up 2. Pay to get in 3. Get in a train 4. Done

I hated NYC's metro card,s it always a pain to use during my trip there. It never swiped on the first go. But DC's cards where fantastic when I used them.

Boohoo... over here in London we have to pay on a "how far are you going" basis, if I wanted to go from Stratford in East London too Kensington in West London, it would cost me over £15, that's probably $22ish dollars? Think you've got it bad? Think again...

reece callow The idiots that live in NYC kick and scream and throw temper tantrums at public meetings every time the fare gets raised even if it is only a 25 cent increase. Those same idiots are the first to complain about delays and poor service. They just can't seem to figure out that you get what you pay for.

Theres a uptown side and downtown side it says it on the number or Irl BMT sides numbers are IRT and the other one is BMT how i know i live in New york city

yeah but number train go on each said it go on the east and the letter train go on the north
