The movie I really like is Aladdin. It’s a 2019 American musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney. Aladdin was coming out on May 24th, 2019 (Aladdin was released on May 24th, 2019). Aladdin was filmed in the USA. It is filled with really cool special effects. Besides, the score is completely incredible. When I watch Aladdin, I want to watch it with subtitles. When you watch it dubbed, it loses some of the magic. There’s a big twist at the end of the Aladdin, but I won’t spoil it for you. In the end, the good guys win and the bad guys lose. "After" is my favorite romcom. It was released in 2019 and I'm looking forward to part 2 which will come out in 2020. The plot is simple but the characters' acting styles are natural and attractive. Moreover, the score is catchy, too. I love it!!

Hey Vanessa!! Thanks for your videos! I've been learning a lot with them! I have no words to describe how much they're important for my learning! It's not my favorite movie... I have a serious difficulty to talk about my favorite movie / TV Shows or everything. But last weekend I watched a movie called "A man called Ove". It's a Swedish movie and it was amazing! Hi Vanessa, I'm Silvia and I've been following your channel for 9-10 months. I really like how you introduce and explain English to us so thank you for your help. That's the first time I leave a comment on a RU-vid video ever. A star is born is one of the best movies of 2018. It's both a musical and a romantic drama because the plot involves both music and a difficult love story. The movie takes place in the US, the cast is brilliant and the score keeps your attention from the beginning of the film to its end. Almost at the end of the film there's a twist in the plot but I'm not going to spoil it. In Italy most of the international movies are dubbed. We actually have a great dubbing academy in Rome and for this reason movies are constantly dubbed. I saw the film both in Italian and in original language and I really enjoyed the experience of watching it in English.

English V. My favorite movie is EXTRAORDINARY, it is a very moving film since it talks about the importance of social acceptance not only for the different, but in general for each individual. Values such as friendship, loyalty, honesty, respect and sincerity stand out to reflect that among the ordinary one can be extraordinary or vice versa, which generates a feeling of conformity.

Fringe is one of my favorite sci-fi shows! I don't remeber now where it takes place, but the show has some stuff that I really enjoy such as time traveling, paralel universes and some investigation, it reminds me X-Files a lot. The plot really got my attention, althougt I didn't enjoy the final episode as much as I wanted, mybe I was expectiong for something else to happen, but no regrets, it was an awesome show! Thanks a lot for this class Vanessa, I was searching for some movie vocabulary to show my english students, greetings from Brazil, OBRIGADO!!!

I love the lord of ring. The plot, character and score, everything is so fantastic for me. Especially the most impressive thing is the companionship between the characters when they have to struggle with something horrible which seems like completely impossible to break through. In the end, they eventually catch a victory overcoming all difficulties, which is quite touching. And personally, fantasy is my favorite genre since it is likely to stimulate my imagination. Besides the lord of the ring was directed by Tolkin and l am big fan of his way of making the unique universe full of fresh ideas. The movie was a hit as soon as it came out. It made me feel like l was connected to people that love this movie.

My favorite film recently is "Ho so trinh sat". It is a detective film. It was set in Hong Kong. It was a hit at 1994 and today still many people love it. It has star-studded cast. The plot is so interesting that it keeps my attention and i can easily follow it. But in my country, there is only dubbed version, and i hope one day i can find a website that upload it with subtitles so i can hear the real voice of the actors

Hi Vanessa! You actually mentioned my favorite movie, Edward Scissorhands. I know to some the film is just plain weird and bit creepy, but I love movies with a touch (or a bunch) of fantasy and magical surrealism. When it comes to the genre, Tim Burton is one of the best in the whole industry. And the score...such a masterpiece! The film "Boyhood" really appealed to me. It's one of the best drama films i've ever watched. This film is set in Texas and tells the story of a couple who has break up with two children. It stars Ellar Coltrane. You would think that the premise would be simple but if u watch it u will fall in love with the main character, Mason! I recomend this film to every one

Frozen is a type of children's movie but I love to watch it especially every winter. The main characters are so vivid and including even Olaf. It probably came out almost 5 years and was a hit from the beginning.

You are absolutely right about dubbing. I have a lot of DVD of American-English movies in original language for the reason you explained, when dubbed they lost their original atmosphere.

Hi Vanessa, I loved this class and improved my english vocabulary. My favorite type of movie is Romcom and drama, I like a good suspense too.Lately I've been watching Bollywood movies, they are really long around two and a half hours but I usually like them. In my opinian Padman and Toilet( both are Bollywood movies) hasn't a good premise but the plot is very good. I've watched On Netflix.
