I have just watched this video and next had a call with my Brazilian friend and I immediately used one expression talking to him : I'm pumped for seeing you in Cracow soon. He's just come there. Thank you for teaching us so useful things
I met a guy last night and started discussing about politics but I don't know how but I wounded up having a strop on because he turned out to be someone too bigoted so finallly walked out on him. Thank you ever so muchm, papa, your videos are absolutely awsome, I always learn so much with them , that's why I 'm superpumping for the next one to come up. Cheers
At the beginning, I didn't know It was gonna be an interesting video. I am so glad that it turned out to be the best video ever. I am looking forward to watching your next video.
I went on a date with a girl. We started talking about travelling and wound up speaking about relationships and family. After the date, she turned out to be married with two children. I hope one day, I'll find someone single.
I learn new words or usages and i use them in my classes. You're perfect mate. I'm an English teacher by the way 😂 if you happen to come to Turkey i would love to meet you. I hope u can see my comment. Take care mate 😊
Tom! 😃 He was really sleeping! 😁 🤗 I'd like ice cream and bikes instead 🙂 Aly, I like your classes exponentially more and more. Thanks much! I'm looking forward to speaking English ..... like a native 😊
By the way, in Russian “the day after tomorrow “ and “the day before yesterday “ are spelt as one word- something like “aftertomorrow” and “beforeyesterday”
Amazing class. It was super helpful to me. I'm Brazilian and I love your channel. I also like your videos with Carina from English Brazil and you both are the best RU-vid's English teachers ever !
I was going to come to London in two months, but now because of this COVID situation I am going to come to London in the eight month (I hope so). I think that travelling outside my country not is on the cards this year. But the other side they little by little lift restrictions. It's all up in the air. I'm looking forward to walking in the streets of London, to shopping, to going to the museums, ets. Also I'm going to visit the theater. I'm so pumped! One day I'm going to live in London :D But now I'm expecting news any day about the opening of borders and the lifting of the two-week quarantine in GB.
Wow! This was one of your best lessons, Aly! Saying only thank you is not enough. All the best to you. By the way, I wouldn't like to forget how to speak in English, since I'm learning German. Oh, my goodness!
1. Travelling outside isn't on the card this year. 2. Good things happening is in the air. 3. There are restrictions for fly so IT's up in the air. 4. I'm looking forward yo trek across Andean for next year. Thanks a lot teacher.
Maybe someday, I could visit my freinds in Catalonia, Spain, but traveling is up in the air right now. Hanging out with them is so pumped. I 'm really looking forward to seeing them. Probably, the borders will be opened next year, so the flights will be on cards and we will end up together. Thank you Ally.
4:19 I thought "oh... This sounds like Hamilton" And then I jumped off my chair because it was 😂😂😂 love your videos, I still have to level up my english and your channel is really useful! ✌🏽 Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Learning English with Papa Teach me is definitely on the cards... I've been looking forward to learning French but right now it's all up in the air, so I think I'm going to wait until things getting better.
I hope I can visit London in one year to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of my oldest friendship. One mistake that I personally notice about future (especially Italians do it) is saying "See you after" meaning "See you later". That is because we have the same word for "after" or "later", but I find it funny, because I myself would like to ask "After what?" when I hear "See you after" 🤣🤣🤣
Eu sou do Brasil, estou aprendendo inglês sozinho, estou na fase de assistir vídeos com legenda em inglês, mais seu vídeos consigo entender perfeitamente sem legenda, thank's !!!
Hey Aly ! First of all thanks for all your lessons ! And these are my answers : -Idk when I'll go back to London exactly, but I hope it will be within a few months -travelling outside my country it's on the cards, because I want to pay a visit to my bestfriend Who is working in Spain -I applied to a drama school but Idk if it's going to work with the schedule of my current job, so I'm waiting until the day I know if my passion will fit with it ! So... it's all up in the air -I'm looking forward to travelling again ! Especially in England ! -I'm pumped for going on holidays with my bestfriend -One day I'll be playing on stage again ! -On my last date, I was kissing the Guy, but he turned out to have never kissed Someone before, and I was totally surprised, but also honored to be the first and only one to have ever kissed him
5:26 hey! I live in Brazil! Lol thank you I can now have an idea what you are speaking off whiout needing to use lyrics to understand :) underrated channel!
I think there are 3 sounds that are in great contrast between British and American English: the American flapped 't', the British non-rhotic 'r', and the British short 'o' /ɒ/ sound. Could you make a video about these three sounds, or about the sounds that you think are the most striking in contrast? Oh, also the trap-bath split comes to mind.
You are awesome, i really like watching your films and learn english, i'm bad in english but i would love to know well foreign language and can speak fluently with someone. I wrote it only for improve my english, and only learn from internet i hope it will work. However, i like you because teaching practice english not from book. Maybe someone understand me. I'm looking forward to seeing your new film.
It has been a utterly splendid, exquisite and flawless lesson. I'm particularly joyful , blissful and elated with that opulent topic. It is to my liking ; moreover, it appeals to me. I do adore your speaking, and your charming accent., Undoubtedly, you are the teacher whom I always wish to meet. Might I trouble you for a question? Would you please let me have a list of phrasal verbs followed by infinitive? Turn out + infinitive ??? I have never ever known it. Thank you very much indeed. I pay my respects to you. You are the be-all and end-all. Far thee well, dearest Prof. Andrea
Thanks for the lesson, I really enjoyed these phone call bits :) Missed opportunity: apply all the phrases from the lesson to fill in the gaps from the intro
Good ending with examples and space lol. Love it. And yeah I learnt a new expression that I really could use in every conversation last two weeks. It's all up in the air. People is asking me if I was planning to travel again or staying at home. Um I don't know. I wish I could leave home. It's all up in the air 😑 I can't control it
