I read a research study where talking to babies in "baby voice" is beneficial for their development. Especially if mom talks to them in the baby voice and dad in normal grown up voice. The variety kind of helps in brain functions i read it long ago so I don't remember specific details. Amazing video nonetheless baby is a born performer ❤

Babies are so cute. My parents talked to my brother and I from baby to toddler just like the second way you showed. No baby talk. One human to another. And when you talk to kids like an adult they learn more vocabulary. I visited years ago my brother’s three nieces. One was 9, the other was 7, and the third was the age of your baby. Talking to the 9 and 7 year old was like talking to a miniature adult. Their vocabulary was amazing because my brother and his wife talked to their kids with no baby talk. Babies understand a lot more than people think when it comes to language. I’m fascinated how toddlers pick up the regional accent. And I love your accent. Oh you’re from New Zealand! I keep getting that accent mixed up with Australian in accent. Still love hearing it.

Not everyone has the luck to have a genuine caring father like you are to your child For example I never had a genuine father who would care for me but does abuse of every kind .
