Thank you Roberto for sharing these tips. They are all helpful. I used to do videos on another channel. However, it got to a point where my concerns about clothing and where to look became a distraction. I would love to do videos outside. I value my and my neighbors' privacy. Therefore, it would be great if I could locate a nature scene green screen that would work well outdoor lighting. Anyway, thanks again and you are looking really handsome. YAH Bless you! 🙏🏽✌🏽💖✊🏾
Roberto the lower progress bar for each topic / chapter is very interesting....can you report back to us creators later how well this works as a retention tactic? Thanks
Thank you for all of your wonderful tips. Your long and short form videos are great. I’m super close to 1000 subscribers and you’ve helped quite a bit!
wow this is real funny timing. I met you at Vidsummit the last couple of years. As I am preparing to launch my channel I have used you as an example. I want to get so intune with my content, focus on the delivery, become a one take wonder (like you) ... I don't want to edit, edit, edit. Thank you for being my inspiration
Hi, you need anti reflection lenses. Ask when you have them made. It's an upgrade, and it will make it easier to see clearly with lights around, especially in low light surroubding situations like night driving too. Just FYI from someone who used to work in the field of lenses.
I've been creating content for a while now, and I've been using most of these tips. The most useful tip for me has been about sitting vs standing. Usually, i just decide that based on whether I'm filming outdoor or indoor. I should actually see which makes for better content.
Thank you so much Roberto You are really helping people out because I know everyone when they start out have trouble with this. I still forget the basics from time to time. Although I learned many new things in this video. My eye contact and posture is always an issue lol
Great tips! I'm also a performing musician, so there's a bit of overlap between preparing for a show and preparing for a video. For me, practicing helps the most with prepping for a video, just like practicing a guitar part. I record 3-4 guitar lesson videos each week. My first year's worth of lesson videos are cringe worthy. The information is good, but let's just say the delivery was lacking. I practice guitar every morning for a few hours. What I started doing was including my upcoming video scripts into my practice sessions (which I still do). I practice my lines and presentation for a week before sitting in front of a camera and to record a series of guitar lessons. My most recent videos are WAY better than my early ones, and I hope that the videos I record a year from now will be better than the videos I'm recording today. I love creating guitar lesson videos for their own sake, but what's really cool is that, because I'm working on making my explanations and instructions as precise as possible for the videos, I have also become a better in-person teacher.
Hi, Roberto!! When will you have your next channel analysis LIVE? I have 206 videos with 837 SUBS. Abysmal! It feels like I’m getting fewer views lately. I post weekly, with a varied content. I know having one focus is better, but I’m not even getting 100 views per video. I will send you a SUPER CHAT at that time. Thank you!! I NEED HELP! Texas🌻
hey Roberto. it was you 4/5 years back that motivated me in creating my youtube channel and working consistently. it took me 4 to 5 years to reach at 70,000 subscriber and daily 10 to 15 thousand views. my channel got suspended and im sure i didn't went against the community guideline. i wish i could show you the content. Please help me to get back that channel. i seriously followed you since 4 years.
Thank you so much for these tips. How do you speak and breath at the same time? How do you stop your throat from getting DRY my goodness and do you stop your face from itching then your body and before you know it every thing has fallen apart. Can’t breathe throat dry and a scratching fit!!!
Hi, could I ask you a question please? Political commentary video usually have news clips or footage in it, how did they record them? Do they just play the yt videos and use screen recorders to just record them?
@RobertoBlake 👋 Roberto I liked how you said to keep recording even if you messed up... as I start all over again ( and it is so time-consuming). I also found Teleprompters hard to follow getting the speed right. I do way to many ums and ahs...that takes a lot of editing. Your point about delivery was also helpful and I am trying to improve that. ( When presenting to the court, we are taught not to show emotion, it is very different in England to America, so I struggle with not sounding mono toned. 😐 Oh, I also started using notes on my phone to glance down, when you said that is OK, I feel better as I wasn't sure if that looks right. ( I find going faceless is more evergreen and if the viewer has a visual, it is more interesting, for replay. I get so nervous going live, and I found that the live shelve hardly achieves any views. Thanks I am a working progress. So much to learn when it comes to being a you tuber... 💕 Your tips are very helpful.
