One of the scariest parts of travelling alone is what to do when a random stranger tries to talk to you. Should you engage in conversation or should you turn tail and run?
As a solo woman traveller, I know this dilemma all too well. While I can't tell you how to talk to strangers, or even if you should, I do have a few thoughts that can hopefully help everyone.
Above all, your safety and comfort is the most important thing to keep in mind. It is not worth jeopardizing that to prevent hurt feelings.
