Preach! My significant other and I were texting one night and he got mad with me for calling him out on something and he started using expletives in his texting-he never called me out of my name he was just saying “damn” and “bullshit” a lot. I immediately told him that his profanity use with me had to stop right then and there or the conversation was over. He said ok goodnight and I did not reply back-in fact I was never going to reach out again if he did not reach out to correct the issue-that was that. Well a few days go by and he contacted me and apologized -he said he was upset. But me saying that to him that night apparently showed him I was not gonna EVER tolerate him cursing at me, even if it was through text.

Sis!!!! I was talking with a guy who would always refer to women as b's and hoes! I confronted him about it and he was like it's an expression of speech and besides a lot of women call themselves those things. I very politely snd sternly told him, I don't speak of myself or any woman in that manner. I knew then he was one worth walking away from!!!

Absolutely Absurd. Good Riddance. This reminds me of a guy I had 1 phone conversation with. Never planned an outing/ date but made sexual/ inappropriate comments. Then had the gall to ask if he could come over to my place. NO & I deleted his phone number after 1 conversation.

Thankfully my boyfriend is not following the society and in my book that’s not a simp but a Alpha male as he is not a follower. He treats me like a queen and I don’t open my legs for him until marriage and he chooses to love me. I'd be careful of that because men are physically stronger and can strike down a woman. I prefer to leave in my feminine energy. But I'm glad your man learnt to treat you right.

@@CeeceeH1819 When he treated me badly for the first time, I later pointed this out to him and explained to him how much he had hurt me, he was visibly shaken when he realized his mistakes ... ... then we have concluded an agreement if he treats me badly again, I also treat him badly afterwards and also give him the explanation of what and how he did it and how it hurts ... ... he is even grateful to me today that we arranged it that way ...! Men sometimes treat us women in a way that they actually don't want, but the women usually don't say anything or they react inappropriately ... ... how is a man supposed to know what he's doing wrong ...? You guys have to talk to each other and again, talk to each other again and again and again, but on a factual level and in such a way that the other also understands what was wrong. But let's be honest, we women don't always treat men correctly either ...!

@@CeeceeH1819 You can be a pushover if you want but some women aren't going to tolerate bad behavior and they certainly aren't going to fear a man because of his size and strength. Being "feminine" is not synonymous with being a doormat like some men would lead you to believe.

Was really feeling your comment, as I have been there. I suggest you sit in open honesty and assess these things (to start): 1. Why do you keep meeting "bad" men? What part of the problem do you play? After all, we are the common denominator in our repetitive issues. Do you have unreasonable expectations? Are you too nice? Or have too much attitude? Too clingy or jealous? Do you have relations with them before a commitment? Do you have masculine/aggressive/competitive energy? Do you try to "mother" them by helping them/trying to solve things for them? These are a few but there are many others. 2. Where are you meeting them? Certain areas, establishments, time of day/night, etc. cater to certain demographics. Also, do you only talk to guys who look a certain way aka your "type"? That gets a lot of women talking to the same kind of guy. 3. How do you look? Do you need to lose weight? Do you need to dress differently? Do you need different hairstyles? If your size and/or look are attracting a certain type of guy then switch it up. Thinner women usually have a larger pool of men to choose from than larger women. A toned-down, feminine look seems most successful, as well. Men are visual so this is the easiest and first thing ladies should change to attract a different type of guy. I found I get the best results by dressing more classically feminine (dresses, skirts, cute flats or heels, jewel or pastel colors, nice makeup, minimal delicate jewelry, hair down (natural or wig), etc.) but not over the top (instagram-type barely-there outfits with lots of colors, patterns, sequins, etc., super high "dancer" looking heels, extreme hairstyles/colors, too much makeup, gaudy jewelry, etc.). 1 & 3 are the hardest for us to really be open & honest about. While I know folks may say people should accept you for you, and you shouldn't have to change, at some point (if we keep ending up with the same results) we need to really look at ourselves and be willing to make drastic changes. There are others but these 3 are the main ones I had to assess about myself. I'm still working but the progress so far has been eye-opening and worth it! You really have to do a deep internal dive. You really have to look in the mirror. Prayers for you on your journey 💜

So many factors are working against women these days. Women outnumber men, the divorce rate is high and easy women are available with just a swipe. Men are having a blast with all options at there disposal. But trust me. Most are not happy. Its better to stay single, happy and somewhat lonely than with someone your not happy with or who treats you less than. Stay blessed. Your not alone.

Absolutely i listen to him but he got faults as well. We don't know how people are going to treat you out here in these falling times. You got to watch as well as you pray. The best way to get something started with a man let him call you and you ask questions. If he can't tolerate your interview then end that situation. Some men will charm you don't fall for it. If he take you out to dinner tell him you can pay your half and see how he responds. You have to be your own detective. And remember don't have expectations because this is a situation not a relationship.
