I taught my bird how to push a shopping cart and then to ‘clean up’ or ‘fetch’ then I taught him to pick up some twin balls, put it in the shopping cart and push it. It’s so cute🥰
Girl you are AWESOME!!! I love the bird tricks I'm going to work on it with my pet parakeet. I just love him so much!!! Its been only 4days since I had him,and he has opened up to me amazingly!!! He knows how to come on and off my finger, also he eating his food out my hand without fear. So, I'm very thankful I found your RU-vid channel Iam going to work on this tomorrow with my little feather friend. Thank you and im subscribing to your channel 😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve been waiting to see the updated videos!! Yay! My baby Leo(two months old turquoise green cheek, he looks exactly like Pumpkin!😚) learned his first trick spin from your video. Can’t wait to teach him fetching. Please have more training videos!! Thanks so much!!
Thanks for this instructional video. I have a cockatiel named Chipper who's 16 years of age. Although he doesn't know how to fetch--simply because I didn't know until now about videos like yours--he has a vocal repertoire and he knows how to pose for photographs. Though I'd like to teach him how to fetch, sometimes Chipper gets nervous standing on a flat surface. I constantly give him praise and comforting words to encourage him when this happens. Thanks again for this video!
thank you sooo much! ur sooo helpfull! my birds live a much happyer life because of you thank you soo much from the bottom of my heart! Your sooo inspiring!! Thank YOU!!
nice, im on the turn around fase, now is on the level where he just spin without an order so i most correct it to only do it when I sign or just when i use the word, so next trick will be fetch, nice lesson
never knew it that was how to train them that type of trick. i wont be using a clicker though, i feel like using voice is more personal and better way to get closser to the bird. but mine is 8 weeks old still, so when she is 9 week i wil be able to buy her. so she wil be at the perfect age to get super close and bond very nicely and train her. i do think i have to bond with her first and get used to the new home for a while. but love your birds, there so cute.
First trick is spin then it knows how to hight five or give us a hand like welcome or stuff then im working on recall and fetch and a lil spin cus its slower then your birds spin
Hello @Flying Fids… love watching your birbs and your super helpful videos. Thank you- you are a blessing🤩🤩 to new birb owners like me. What is the right age to start training according to you?
Hi. I got 2 cockatiels not too long ago. They have learnt how to respond to their names.I’m not sure if that’s a trick but I’m counting the baby steps that they are taking❤
I am trying but my canure mot fetching ball or holding ball.when i say turn them do round for seed but i want to teach him this trick..please suggest..how to convince him to fetch ball
Hi ,I love your videos. Have been a bird mom for years. Unfortunately no t as patient as I should be. I now have a 9-10 month old Green cheek who seems very eager to learn. My question to you is what are you using for treats ? Thank you
My rosey bourke parakeet the only trick she knows is how to step up and also chase my feet I did not teacher her that she's just that kind of bird. My male budgie Skyler knows how to fly to my hand step up and I'm still trying to work on Target training with him, the female budgie I'm still trying to get her to trust me same with Griffin one of my cocktails but he is picking up on target training and flying to hand. Stormy learns really quick after learning how to target train he quickly learned how to do a spin, bow, step u,p flight to my hand and pull a paper straw from my hand.
How do you feel about training a 10 year old rescue? He doesn’t trust me yet and is terrified of everything except taking treats from me and head scritches.
What are some tips for getting the bird interested in the object? Do you use a command like "fetch" while messing with it while it's next to the bird? My birds aren't at all interested in the objects I give them, and they get frustrated and fly away. Just started this training, any tips for getting cockatiels interested in picking things up?
I am a great great great fan of you well I Don't HAVE any bird 😳 still I see your videos cuz I will have a bird soon? I am only 10 years old I think your birds can do maths more nicely than me🤣😂 pls reply 🥺🥺 - a good fan from Bangladesh
ooh i’m excited to try this with my bird! I have started trying to train my bird but I don’t know what to do for treats. I tried nutriberries and millet but my bird isn’t interested in either
Is most cases yes like if you were to teach your bird to speak you must teach them young but if it’s tricks like fetch or spin around I don’t think age matters
Can you please teach us how you train your bird not to poop everywhere?? I’m getting a bird soon and I’m worried it’s gonna poop everywhere 😭 Edit: okay seems like you can’t rlly stop them from pooping all over the place so I guess I’ll just deal with it

hello, I have a terrified cockatiel, he is so aggressive and scared of hands. I think he was abused and I was wounding if you could maybe make a video of how to tame scared birds ?
