This just showed up, I appreciate the information. It did give me information not just for training but also helped me with my anxiety when i am around big protective dogs, now I know they are trained to protect & yet they have ability to be just a dog. I always wondered if they always have to be on command.

Sorry failed to add a couple things...by teaching Them it's not good to bark and bark for long periods of time...which is common sense...if You just let Them keep barking to just be barking makes it impossible to know when there is something bad going on...People who allow their Dogs to just bark all the time...are in the mindset to just ignore it ALL THE TIME...which means You have the Boy Who cried wolf...NO ONE KNOWS SOMETHING REAL IS HAPPENING...They and People around learn to tune it out...when some times...more often then not...bad things happen and the Dog is trying to do Their Job...protecting Their Family and Homes...THEY ARE NOT PSYCHICS...They NEED You to teach Them what They NEED to know...AND ALWAYS teach Them with LOVE and give Them the necessary PATIENCE while They are learning...ANIMALS Have the SAME FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS as We do...They are actually smarter then MOST HUMANS
