I just had my fuel pump replaced on my 2015 altima.Car ran great for one day and the car started idling rough and shutdown on me twice.Check engine light came on.I took it back to the mechanic that replaced my fuel pump.He on. The codes and it came back with fuel level low sensor & a fuel temp sensor fault codes. What are the chances that this new fuel pump has bad sensors or could it be something shorting them out?Any help would be appreciated.
Excellent Job ! You're a great technician. I would have loved to have known you when I was your age. All of my friends couldn't fix their own cars...I had to.!..after repairing cars all day ...lol. and stupid me, didn't charge them....I'd be rich if I had...ah the good old days...Thanks, Matt.
Greetings from the UK (near London)!! Thank you for the very informative video. Great commentary and explanations of what you were doing. Thank you! 🙂👍 🇬🇧
I have a 2006 Ford Mustang v6 with the PO183 code I have replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor two or three times and it doesn’t seem to fix it. Any help would really be appreciated!
Hi Sir...do you know the code P0181 and P0182 code problem for Nissan Frontier?..i replace the Fuel gas Level pump ...but these two code came out after we erased code P0463?...hoping u can help me
2 spectra pumps one in car one out of car similar around resistance at fuel temp sensor around 1 ohm, my oem sitting next to the spectra that is out of the car is around 1.75 ohm both next to each other same table. I get p018x codes with the spectra in the car, I really dont want to change pumps again, will be the third time, can I just run with the light? and I get 4.75 volt to the circuit with key on never got a temp code before with oem
I have a g20t 2000 and they say my fuel temp sensor in the fuel tank is not working . so i get service engine light they say they do not make these any more is there a way to find out where i could get one
He changed from a Nissan to a Subaru after removing the fuel pump... similar but not the same! The problem target changed from fuel temperature sensor to the fuel LEVEL sensor.
I have an 07 nissian murano sl code p0183 fuel tank temp sensor any info on what I need to do? ( side not I am guilty of leaving my car running while getting gas)
Don't know if you still need to know, but they unfortunately don't sell the fuel temp sensor separately for the Nissan Versa 07-12. You basically have to buy a whole new fuel assembly if the sensor is bad, which sucks lol. Had to do that for my 09 Versa.
Can someone let me know where the fuel pressure regulator is on my 2015 Mustang v6 3.7? I don't see it under my hood. Also, how do I know if an EVAC charcoal canister is defective? It blows air through all three air ports. Is this how it's designed? When filling the fuel tank with gas the gas pump sometimes shuts off before my tank is full. Thank you.
I have a 2014 NV200 with P0183 code. Fuel temp Sensor. Truck doesn't start. If the fuel temp sensor doesn't work will it cause the truck not to start? Thanks.
I have a question about getting your code from the scanner. It is my understanding that the scanner only gives an error code when there is a check engine light, is that correct? If I am having a problem with my car (and I suspect it may be the fuel temp sensor), will the scanner tell me what the problem is, even if I haven’t had a check engine light?
Great video. But you say in the video that higher temps decrease resistance and lower temps increase resistance. You got that backwards. Superconductors are supercooled using liquid nitrogen. If higher temps reduced resistance then superconductors would need to be superheated. Not supercooled.
Hey man, I been looking and looking. I have a 2002 F150. 5.4l. could you please help me locate the fuel temperature sensor? been looking online and they say it's in the engine bay. please help brother. Thank you in advance. I have a P0181 code.
is this the same set up as a 2011 Nissan juke blowing codes P0181 & P0182 assuming one code is making the other one visible. is that temp sensor part of the tank leveling mechanism or does it detach Thanks in advance sir.
It's similar in terms of a connection on top of the sensor and the float bowl on the bottom. You can test the sensor on your Juke as well. Try doing a google image search. If you need diagrams/pics shoot me a message via facebook. And yes, it does detach as shown in the video.
Here you go: www.amazon.com/Company23-C23-545-Subaru-Fuel-Disconnect/dp/B00QH7BJ82/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499831343&sr=8-1&keywords=subaru+fuel+line+disconnect+tool
you can relieve the gas tank pressure by opening up the Gas cap, so fuel doesn't run out when you disconnect the fuel hoses with the fuel pump unit still bolted on to the tank.
Video request: Fuel regulator error code & replacement. I also have a 97 Maxima. Still in good condition and taking care of it by watching your videos. Keep making videos! 😉
You did not show the people that commenting on your video,on how you didn't take out the sensor 😂you gotta dismantle the the sending unit part to get to the sensor 🤔🙄😂
I tell you how to do it and do anything you wanted to know people 🙂🤗first thing y'all going to do is,☺️if your car is not worth anything 😂 the one thing you want to do is call the junkyard 😂 because if you planned on fixing it ,it will cost you an arm and leg to do that 🙂 I rather you just to give it to pick _n_pull😂they will give you$300 dollars for it😂😂😂
Lol. Why remove the fuse to relieve the fuel pressure when you are already going to disconnect the wiring to the fuel pump? And even though you checked the continuity from ground to one side of the temp sensor, isn't there another wire going to the ecm/pcm? Or does it just read the resistance through the vehicle ground? Funny shit!
