Awesome Tutorial! I love being able to control the depth making my own rigs. Saves you alot of money . but if people struggle making them I have nothing against people using premade rigs. just dont get one with alot of metal hardware or metal line!
I don't think this works, all these years and I've yet to catch one chicken using this rig! Great tutorial, may not work for chickens but works great on the reef.
Hello Sir, thank you for this video on this assembly which works really well. What do you think of the knocker rig for sea and freshwater shore fishing? Is it effective? Thank you
Smoke n toke.... Tacklin Tuesday!! You tie your hi low a bit different then I do I just tie loop knots into line and put hooks and such on after and I don't use any swivels either but that's just me 😁
My friends in Costa Rica use handlines and chicken rigs for snapper. One day I was out with them in the Gulfo Dulce and my buddy caught a Pacific amberjack on that rig. It was quite the struggle but he caught it. I always used rods and they would tease me and say real men use hand lines. But when we trolled for mahi, tuna, mackerel and stuff they usually used rods too. Good times. I can hook you up with them..
@@comfortablynumb9342 I never get anything in the ponds lol. I got some bad luck. My family has a curse and I finally broke a ten year streak of bad luck last year when I caught a 23 inch red. I'll probably pull up a ninja turtle from the storm drain
What's your opinion on having a longer line knots for your hooks? I noticed yours was a lot shorter than most people's or at least mine LOL I've heard you want a longer line away from the main line but I'm not sure if it matters. What's your take on that?
