I would maybe add: the windsor knot works better for short people, as it uses more of the tie.

Full Windsor is good if you're wearing a three-piece suit. A nice fat knot and you hide the short tie behind the waistcoat.

You should also know that ties come in longer lengths for taller or plus sized people. Don't be afraid to walk into a tall men's or big men's shop for more tie options.

Where can I go to get short people's ties? I'm 5'11, but it must all be in my legs, because both ends of my tie hang well past my belt.

I love this. Also if your narrow end is too long and you are in a bind and have to go now tuck it into your shirt and go.

I like the trinity knot. It's done with the narrow end, so no length estimating and it is basically just a double windsor + one step. Also looks great with stripes :)

Half Windsor is my go-to. Not as big as the full Windsor, but with the same symmetry.

I went into this video thinking "I already know how to tie a tie - I was forced to do it every day for school as a teenager". Turns out I was only taught how to do the Four-in-Hand. Next time I have to wear a tie again, I may try the Windsor or the Eldredge Knot to make it feel novel again (ooh exciting!)

It seems you got right and left the wrong way around in the voice over text - or am I thinking about this wrong? Example: you say the wide end belongs on my right side but then in the video the wide end is on the left side of the model (it's on the right from our viewpoint). I'm confused...
