The wing is almost connected to the head of this moth and the head is smooth looking.. It just goes to show that flies don't really have to look like the intended bait .. This is just an observation.. I still gave you a thumbs up.

Yes, they were driving me crazy on the Tongariro on a trip as well. Wish I had this fly then. Hope they are still feeding on these after this lock-down.
