@@andrewmorke you could use a uni tied the traditional way for mono that heavy. Works great. Heavy mono can be a bit tricky, just takes some practice.. also a uni snell is a good heavy mono knot with the advantage of only needing one end of the line to tie it with.
This is the tidiest Centauri knot I found on RU-vid, and I think it's because of the uncoiling at 0:42. However, it could not uncoil as shown when I tried it myself. It turns out that you should wrap the line from the tip towards the end of your finger. This is also what's shown in the video but is not emphasized explicitly. If you do this, the loops will uncoil accordingly as expected.
