Hi Lindsay I hope you are well. I agree with Wayne and use at least 6 CDC feathers to ensure good floatation in still waters. Sometimes more!! Thats a nice fly! atb Jim

This is an interesting dry fly. I was curious as to how one would fish this fly in a still-water situation... It would be hard to see, so would you fish it tandem with a more visible fly? I'm fairly new to fly fishing, only 7 years since retirement haha! Thanks for the video instruction.

Hi Pal, I would fish this quite close to a drifting boat no more than two rod lengths away. It is surprising how well it stands out on the water.
