I am not a beginner but I've always found that this knot can be difficult to see/learn in many videos because the instructor's fingers obscures the process and you have found an excellent way around that problem. Thank you and a big thumbs up on the video. I look forward to studying with you more.

You have thus far been the easiest tutor on this seemingly hard knot. I was just about to give up on this one. funny thing is, when I do this after braiding a four strand leather round braid, I can do this knot with no problem. Such an excellent explanation & demonstration! I watched another video by a guy I can usually follow, but anchoring the cords through my fingers & using my palm as a background helped me see the steps & was so much easier than trying to tie the knot "in the air"!
