I knew I would learn something new even though I've adjusted chair slack many times. Checking slack at different parts after adjustment & inspection of uneven wear of the sprocket were new points to consider.
Have seen many biketech bloggers we call as! So far I haven't seen such a clarified info on bike problem trouble- Shoot/experimentation with detailed vid .... Hatz off to you bro...your RU-vid channel doesn't stop me to watch with this upload...it gets me eager to watch more of your uploads..from the beginning....I wish that your RU-vid channel gets more familiar. .. All the best
Nice explanation. Frnds, pls also note that you should never check chain slack on rolling chain. my friend lost his finger when he was lubricating a rolling chain and in between he checked the chain slack.
Thanku for this vdo. This will surely help mostly riders and daily commuters alot. I want you to have atleast a million subscribers. All the best wishes. With love from Kerala😎
Make a video on how the Motul chain cleaner and lube are worst thing to use because they go under O rings and disturb the grease and allows water to stay trapped inside...and also the lube makes it dry more quickly... Kerosene and Gear oil is best... generics and cheap also...
Thanks a lot Rajat for keep the interest levels high. Even though these videos might be under 5 mins but a lot of time goes in making them. More videos will definitely be beneficial for the viewers and also for the channel in terms of revenue but I am really trying hard to keep the quality and content level high as I am overjoyed to have support from riders like you 😊
I have the RTR 200 too. I am facing issues with my front suspension it seems to wobble back and forth and i got the bolt on the handle adjusted three to four times in a month. Can you please recommend anything to fix this problem? I was told that going hard and fast into potholes might be the reason, but i haven't.
Also make a video or give us information regarding the new bluethooth speedometer by tvs and can we install it in our older apache 200. I think only you can give information regarding this as you did in case of slipper clutch
Thanks Rishi for keeping belief and supporting the channel. The new speedometer has a lot more stuff (sensors and electricals) so its not an easy retrofit.
Thanks for your informative videos. At first Sorry for the query not regarding this video. I have gone through your videos on engine oil topics. That helps me a lot. My bike is a new FZS V3, Odo reading is 650 km. Currently using yamalube 10W40 mineral. But with this the engine becomes very hot even after 5/6 km of riding, gear shifting is very hard, difficulties in shifting from 1st/2nd gear to neutral. Now which engine oil will be better for fzs in your opinion. After how many kilometers i can use semisynthetic oil. Plz reply
Hi Kamrul, If you can then I would suggest you go ahead with fully synthetic oil for your FZs V3. Going by the experience of other FZ owners 7100 will be a good choice, advance ultra can also be a good alternative. Just make sure you get the right grade: amzn.to/2LTUy2u
@@thesportztourer sure mate, it would really help to see alignment and balancing being done because its one aspect not many pay attention to and is one cause of accidents
Hello can you kindly give some info if we can change the gearing of the CBR 250 I want to make it a short gear as the low end sucks in the city n I don't ride it in highways, is there any compatible sprockets for the CBR 250 which we can retrofit in it
Outstanding video as usuall. I have one question. My 200 4v indication are never identical. I have showed this in service center as well as to local mechanic but they just rotate the wheel and check the rotation and says its fine. Is it really fine that the marking can be a manufacturing defect? @sportztourer please advice.
A miss aligned chain/axle would make some cutting noise while rotating. You can confirm the alignment by measuring and matching the length from the center of swinging arm bolt to rear axle bolt on both the sides. Happy to know that you liked the video 😊
@The Sportztourer: After migrating to twin spark plug in Apache rtr 200, do we need to tune carburetor? What should be the RPM to be set? Please suggest
I found, there is some play between my rear wheel and sprocket. It causes Little jerk while leaving the clutche after changing gear. What might be the problem.help me. Bike : Gixxer 155
There are 5 lines on left side and 4lines on right of my apache 200 or bike new h (mtlb kisi ne nhi kiya h wese hi ae thi ?🤔 should i adjust it? I am not feeling any dis alignment while riding
how many kms did the stock chain sprocket last for u bro??.. My rtr has done 14 k kms ,i lubricate it regularly every 500 kms,but now i find some rough rides while touring!!
How about a complete review? Something like these: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JuysTdDgIuw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KW5LfJleZfg.html
Bro if you or any of your friends are using a chain sprocket for rtr 200, other than the company’s cheap product ,please suggest me ! I bike has done only 22k kmz but i have changed the sprocket twice but still has the irritating noise ! Please let me know if there is any other solution!
Hi Shashank, Seems like premature wear and tear of the chain. Whats was the response from authorized service? Was the installation done right with proper alignment?
Hi bro I own a dominar UG and it's 2 months old . There is a noise coming from front sprocket only when I accelerate, if I leave the throttle and bike is moving there is no noise. I clean it every 500km and lube the chain every 250 km . Wheel is aligned properly and chain slackness is 25mm(1inch) . can u help me with this issue
@@thesportztourer not loud but it can be heared when i don't wear helmet, it appears only when i give the throttle when i leave the throttle the sound is not present
I am using hero hunk motorcycle about 30000km but after 15000 km my motorcycle makes vibration when reach the speed level 110 km.but it was not happen when my motorcycle was new . from very begining I am using motul 300v . please help me.
Hi, There can be a few reasons behind this: 1. Check the chain for correct slackness (clean, lubricate, align if necessary). 2. Get the air filter and spark plug inspected. 3.Tune the carburetor and get it cleaned if needed. There can be other factors if possible visit a good authorized service or get it inspected by an expert mechanic.
Probably yes, a worn out chain sprocket set can lead to this condition. Still you can get it checked from the authorized service before going ahead with replacement.
GOOD INFO BROTHER IM HAVING ONE DOUBT MY RTR 160 CHAIN WORN WITHIN 17 K KMS IS IT GOOD OR BAD WILL WORN CHAIN REDUCES THE MILEAGE OF MY BIKE PLEASE ANSWER @sportztourer 😉Waiting for ur reply
Worn out chain depends on the riders riding style...with sudden and quick acceleration those teeths on the sprocket tends to worn out and later on that may slip and a really nasty noise can be heard... Bdw 17k is ok for a life span of a chain.. I guess the recommended life span for chain as by TVS is 19k-21k
Hi Akshay, These wear and tear parts usually don't require replacement based on km but on their condition. Sushovan has covered the points very well and I have seen most of the RTR owners getting the chain sprocket replaced in between 20-30k km.

The problem with riders like us is we have an emotional connection with our bikes. Tvs service centre guys used moped non sythentic oil in my vehicle due to which the sound of my vehicle changed or may be it's just timing tentioner idk. I am taking every measures to get that corrected. M changing my vehicle oil every 2k or 2.5k km and the oil filter every 4k to 5k km. That's why I suggested @Saurabh Rana Just to be safe. If you have any recommendations plz help. @The Sportztourer
