Nice job! I actually own a tinting company and wanted to see what an average person doing tints looks like. Removing doors was a good choice since you might have issues with the seals. Couple things, you should have pre shrunk from outside. And honestly for a non tinter. Not bad! Good job bud
@@Iegend17 yea. Thats why you had fingers popping up. Some windows like corvette windows require lots of shrinking. I always shrink to make the amount of fingers very very minimal
@@erlyszavala trust me it got way better lol. This is my video right here. Check it out :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Waj79JDNuHs.html
Looks good, good job. The reason people remove door panels is to remove the window sills which weren’t removed. It makes it easier to tuck the film or even js sliding the bottom in first which is called a bottom load. And shrinking the film before install eliminates fingers from forming, but seriously great job for your first go.
when you took the door panel off your also able to remove that rubber molding on the bottom of the glass you usually just pull up on em maybe a screw or two at most
That’s a amazing job for someone who didn’t even shrink it. I think I will buy precut and try installing it without shrinking, if it looks like you tints after installing I’m happy
Good job my man👌🔥 I got my Accords windows as a factory option of 15%, but that was only the rear and back. In California you can't have the front tinted, and if you do, you can barely get away with a 30%, so it's not worth it😅
The guts u gotta have to tint for the first on a brand new accord, I'm trying to tint my 2000 civic and I can't stop worrying about getting air bubbles or if I'll accidentally rip it or it just won't look right
How’s the haze from a direct sunlight? I got their ceramic but it’s too hazy for my taste. Talked to eBay seller about it and he said carbon might be less haze than ceramic so dik
excellent job with the tint, will be doing my car soon. May I ask does your closed in patio have windows or screens. Will be doing mine soon trying to decide which way to go. thanks much
I bought 35% for sides and 50% for back window pre cut tint from Amazon for $45+, and still have it sitting in the BOX and worried about the BACK window installation. Maybe TODAY will be the day I MOTIVATE myself to INSTALL it.
The purpose of taking the door panels off is to get between the seal and it looks like u left the panels on I'm not sure but u wer tucking the bottom but nice job
I have same car. I messed up on all windows smh 🤦♂️ I’m going to order another kit and buy the solution next time. The dish n baby soap sucks! It dries and leaves spots all over the car n under the tint in between the glass n film. I still have to try n do the big back window. Practice does help. I can safely say I’m learning as I go. In ca 20% is illegal in front. I went with 35 which is less illegal lol 😂
Really great job! 20% is the way to go. I have 15% just because I like it dark. Back window is the hardest but came out great and those little bubbles are expected. 9 hours to do is one hell of a job but it's expected for a first time try.
But what kind of dye did you buy because from the inside out it looks super good as if I didn't have anything on that's why I liked it and I have that same car
Chris Varghese nope lol. No one cares. Most people on the street you see have 15-20% tint. My friend has 5% and had his accord for 3 years and never got pulled over. I am thinking to do my windshield tbh.
@@Iegend17 Hey man just got my red accord tinted too! 15% all around except the front which I got 45%, u think ima get pulled over a lot with how dark it is lol, im from the CT area too
Sultan niceee!! I live in new haven area. 45% is dark. I think 75% windshield is good. I have 20% and they are good. The accord in red with tints looks amazing
Ahmed Wasir I did mention it in the video haha. Yes I did use a heat gun. But I didn’t show it in the video but I did mention it in the video while tinting.
I going to be "that guy" and say it. I don't believe you.. I don't even believe you a little. If this were your first time tinting, there would be at least 78% excitement in your voice, hell you would have been talking shyt to us. However, if it is to be true, I want you to show us the rear windshield 2 months after it was tinted
No everyone is a loser and unmotivated like you. You seem like those guys who sit on the couch all day and eat and complain why people have things and you don’t.
