You are sooo adorable Maria! I really enjoy your videos out here in Southern California. Just got my 1st two desert roses and I'm excited to plant them. I live in a desert community in Los Angeles County. We have very hot climates in summer but also are in higher elevation so we get light drops of snow in the winter. I'll be bringing these guys indoors during those months. Thanks so much for the great information and your lovely sense of humor!

Maria thank you for another outstanding video. Alot of people put video's out but they do not explain things thoroughly like you do. They can learn a thing or two from you. Also its great that you will be selling your desert roses now. I will be texting you Friday definitely to place an order of three from you. I'm so excited. Can I ask, other than single pedal flowers do you have them with multiple pedals as well? I will be ordering a white, a red and a pink from you. Thank you thank you thank you.
Hi Maria! I love the way you tell us how to take care our adenium.I got mine a week ago and I planted yesterday. Could you tell me how many times do I have to give water to my baby please!.
You are just too cute and funny ! Thank you so much !!! I just received a bare root desert rose . I put in a pot with soil and watered it . Should I take it out of the soil and let it dry since it’s March ? It has leaves . It doesn’t have very many roots . Should I use rooting hormone ? I will make sure my elephant doesn’t eat it 🤣🤣🤣. I love you , Maria ❤️❤️❤️
Jennifer Liebo Omg your elephant lol I need to know how it’s you weather and what type of soil are you using please feel free to call or text at 941-457-1172

Great video. I just repotted my desert roses this weekend and posted my video. Unfortunately, 2 of my babies didn't make it because of root rot 😢😭. They cause felt hard but except for some rubbery areas and when unrooted I found that they we're worse than I thought. I did surgery and cut as far down as I could but they couldn't be saved.

Hi Maria, I just repotted my desert rose in a pot 2 weeks ago. Some leaves are turning yellow. I used organic cactus succulent soil and miracle grow soil mixed and added soluble succulent plant foods to try to make yellow leaves go away. Could you give me tips on how to prevent yellow leaves and induce flowering? I don't think I'm overwatering.

Maria help!! I live in Clermont, Fl. I thought my desert rose would be happier in the ground.June of 2017 . Last winter I learned that was a very bad idea. It was over 2 ft tall and just as wide when planted. It did come back slowly, it’s blooming now 10/3, it’s 13inches tall and just as wide so she’s happy! Nice thick hard cadux..but I want it back in a pot. Don’t want to take any more chances. She is at least 4 years old. Any advice please.
Barbara MAKOWSKI ok my friend if you love you desert never planted in the ground in Florida we have to much humidity and water desert rose don’t like that best to plant in pot with good drainage and let nature taker them cactus soil and some good fertilizer like osmocote 14-14-14 slow release thank you Maria’s garden

Maria, I just got 10 bricks of coco coir and it says to put 60 ozs of water on it and stir it and then I can use it. Would this be exceptable for desert rose plants. I see you have black gold coir I don’t know the difference. You told me not to use it on my succulents but what about using it in the soil mixture for the snake plant, the Aglaonemas and the ponytail plants?
Ann Stewart Hi my friend the gold coir is the same what you need to do is mix what you need in small amount yes ponytail and snake plant and consider Sacculants yes I said you don’t have to apply in because the snake plant doesn’t need but if you like to used is ok the snake plant well enjoy snake plants are very hard they grow any ware with very little care love Maria’s garden 🐛🐝🇺🇸🐝🐛

4u25out Hi my friend all depends what state or country you are living what you need to do when you weather get into the 70 and 80 you need to water you plant ones a week if doesn’t rain about the winter it’s a lot to think about before making a desertion when to water you desert roses you plant needs to be stabilized by winter time be9you place inside the house and run you heating or air conditioned the plants don’t like the heating because gets the pla7to dehydrated and the cells in the steam dry and the plants have very hard time recovery from but if you plant it in the pot pot a year it is ok to places in the garage or in the house 🏡 and slow the watering the plants be ok thank you Maria’s garden
