Oh my gosh thank you! I'm taking a dance class at school and we are learning a dance for our midterms that had this in it but in 4th position. My teacher went through everything really fast and I've never done this before so I was pretty confused. I only had to watch about a minute and a half to get what I needed. This helped SO much! It all makes more sense now! Thanks! -stressed high school student 😂
I am so glad that it helped! I definitely remember when I first started ballet how I wished sometimes the teachers would go a bit slower - haha Thanks for your comment!
OMG I am so glad I found this channel. I am a 49 year old student now in intermediate classes and we are learning this exact combination. I love how you explain it and showing it in slow motion. I can't thank you enough 🙂🙆🏼♂️
Oh that is fantastic, I am so glad you have found ballet and that we can connect! Let me know if there is anything else specific that you'd like me to do a video on. ❤
Thank you! I'm just starting out teaching beginning ballet. The way you break it down is fantastic. It's helpful to see how you teach your beginners. I've watched many of these beginning ballet videos. They've been immensely helpful to me. THANK YOU!! ❤
I listened deeply to your good video and listened to it, and it seems to comfort me even though my mind and body were complicated and tired. thank you. I will leave the hand of a good relationship. You have the power to make it wonderfully attractive. Growth seems to have a beginning and no end. As long as you have worked hard for your dream, you will surely succeed. We support! An algorithm like in the universe chose me here and thank you for the algorithm that made it possible to watch good videos I would like to give you my sincere praise and support with all my heart and sincerity for your channel to gradually develop into a very large channel.
Thank you very much for your efforts to show the movements in multiple angles and the slow motion! So very valuable for beginner students! Thank you again!
thank you so much for this video ! You explain very well and the back view helps a lot :) As a beginner adult, I never understood how to do it properly in class, now I get it. By the way your feet look gorgeous :)
That makes me so happy to hear, thank you! I definitely remember being tripped up by this step when I first learned it and I love being able to help it click for others as well!
Your videos are very helpful! Can you also teach us how to do Contretemps? I never got the steps right. And nobody actually made a video on this. Thank you!
Your videos are so helpfull,I got one question, I am practising my splits ,with my left leg in front I am alm ost there, only 5cm perhaps, but the right leg really challenges me and I am not half so far as Iam on the other side. Is that normal.Any tips ? And even the last 5 cm Is a point where I hang now since at least 6 weeks. Please help me.
Hey I don't know how I missed this comment! It is normal for one side to be more flexible. There are a lot of variables but I would recommend rolling out (massaging) the muscles in your thighs and hips/butt, PNF stretching and strengthening your core and lower back. Those 3 things make the biggest difference that I've seen in trying to get splits. Let me know how it goes!
