While Celtic and Viking knotwork do have their differences, there is also a lot of similarities. I show how to tool them without digging into the style differences. I would tool both using these methods.

I just rewatched this video again today, and realized this one has one of the most hidden tips in leatherworking. I've had a question for a long time that you answered in this video: how to round the edges over so the top tooling doesn't look so flat. This is the first and only video I've ever seen that actually SHOWS the process. As I was watching you do this I realized it helps to hide the core line in the leather. Thanks a ton for this information, as I feel like this will really help me elevate my tooling to where I want it.

Tony, Good video and neat idea for a pattern. But when you say "Figure Beveler" there are literally hundreds of them. Where can i find what depth of beveler. (10 Deg - 50 Deg) for the bevel slope. I would like to invest in a good set of 3 widths and 2 -3 angles, but no idea what depth of bevel would be the best spend for someone who currently has a basic set of tandy bevelers.

I still use mostly Tandy tools. I do have a Barry King small beveller I use frequently. It really boils down to what bevellers you prefer. I recommend going less steep with bevellers.

Hey Tony! Are the ones that come with the viking armor pack stitching or tooling patterns?

Hi Cody, the pattern set I sell has all the tooling and construction patterns. It also has an instruction manual.
