If you check the Nissan shop manual, it is called for by the manufacturer. Torque to spec, loosen, torque to spec, 90 degrees, 90 degrees. Some engines/modifications call for 95 degrees, 95 degrees as the last two steps. The one who has no idea what they are talking about is Mirko.

had a problem. cooling system antifreeze was leaking trough header tank. . removed cylinder head. .was skimmed and headgascket replaced. . but have same problem. antifreeze is leaking through the top of header tank. wasn't the job been done correctly or the problem is somewhere else.
Hi mate I’m so stuck. I’m placing the bolts on the head now as we speak and I’ve torqued my torque wrench to 180* degrees but I’ve been turning for a while on bolt number one and it still has reached 180 on my wrench. Am I suppose to torque it to 180* or just turn the bolt 180* just with a breaker bar?
hello i have a nissan pathfinder automatic 2.5dci the problem is that when i go above 2000rpm i have no power and black smoke comes from the exhzaust .i"ve don a reset pn the ECU remove the battery for one hour no engine check light no nothong just above 2000rpm no power as more i step the accelerator the more black /grey smoke comes out .Can you tell me what to check first?
