Couldn't live without those ramps. I believe they paid for their self in the first month. We got a lot of those stupid lowered cars around here. It cost an extra $100.00 for us to tow one. The extra time and labor we think it's fair. Another great and professional job guys. Y'all take care and God Bless.
Stupid is the operative word. A couple boards work and are worth a video, but the actual video of somebody stupid enough to do that to a car, priceless.
I thought that it had air bags to raise it. Didn't look like it could go over speed bumps. Don't understand why anyone would want a car or truck that low. crazy. good job stay safe.
I hadn’t thought about how you would tow a lowered automobile. I guess there is something to the old saying “you learn something new everyday”. Great video thanks for sharing Mr. Hal.
All vehicles and equipment sold in the Sumpter area should come standard with a Sumter Wrecker business card in the glove compartment so if they need a tow or winch out they can just call the best company that can do the job first. As always Sumter Wrecker always gets the job done well, God Bless Mr Hal and his family and crew.
wow. that was a very low car. that wireless remote was priceless in letting you watch all the ay around the car while loading and unloading. nicely done.
Mr Hal nice job getting the car on the bed, having the right equipment makes the loading super easy plus the car didn't have much overhang behind the rear tires.you and Eric made the customers day and his car can get fixed
Back when they didnt have lcg beds we used a 2 x12 x8 foot long and put a 6x6 block and put it at the center of each bord at the edge of the bed and it worked perfectly. Bever damaged one car or truck
Lowering a car is done to lower the center of gravity to improve handling for high performance driving if you track the car. Of course it is done to street cars mainly for show but can be a problem for speed bumps, car washes, hitting curbs, etc if too low .
Race ramps are brilliant I made a cradle under the bed of my truck so there permanently with me i’ve moved a couple of professional drift cars which are only about 1 inch off the floor
You and Mr. Wilt? I'm always impressed by your calm nature and just get it done. Some of the other tow sites its like watching Highway From HELL drama everywhere and I'm sure many double takes because they weren't dramatic enough!...lol T/Y for the visual of normalcy no matter the situation!
I'll never understand why folks take beautiful cars that have such good ride quality, slam it down and make it ride like a brick. Very well done buddy. The other companies just didn't wanna work for the money. They like the load and go fast money.
Awesome awesome job u and ur guy did on loading and unloading the lowered car and nice job on making sure it went on smooth and coming off smooth to be safe and always be careful doing what y'all do each and every day
Nice! I like seeing the rollback work. I like those ramps better than the 1 piece ramps I have. Mine are long and I don’t have space for them on the truck. I need to make a bracket for mine.
Very nicely done. I have dealt with a few fancy cars, but that one there looks like it`s got everything I ever touched, beat by a long shot, as far as low-slung vehicles go... I guess that there would be what they`d call a `Fly Hooptie`, no ? Where were those ramps 35 years ago, sure would have been handy then. We had other tricks up our sleeves, just weren`t as fancy-pants as those ramps. That`s pretty cool. Take care Mister Hal, eyes open and head on a swivel.
No tow point in front behind smal plastic protector...hmmm. Weird. That should be mandatory! Every car I had here in europe had that. But it is true my last one is 2011...so who knows about new ones.
