Hello guys my name is Be and this is B.A.D. bikes and if you asked me “What would be the next trick I should learn after a bunny?” I would say track standing. You can use this trick or tecnec or whatever you want to call it for road, bmx, and mtb. I find doing this trick on a mountain bike is the most fun for me so that's what i'm going to use. This trick is awesome because you can do it in a very small area.
To do a trach stand start out at a slow speed and then apply your brakes, try to stay still for a second and then keep on rolling. If you do this over and over again you will start figuring out how to keep your balance and be able to track stand forever.
Now let's talk about posture. When i'm in track stand mode i lean over the handlebars to put my center of gravity over the frontier and when my bike leans left i lean right and when my bike leans right I lean left. The concept is pretty basic but harder than it looks.
If you are really serious about staying on your bike then here are three killer tips that will help you track stand. If you're on a bike with suspension lock it out this will help you jump around a bit more. The second one is dropping your saddle. This will let you move around as much as possible without your seat getting in the way. The last one is getting into a low gear so that you can make a quick adjustment quickly.
