www.pakmasters.com, This phase of the e collar training is where your dog learns to listen to commands whether the e collar is on or not. This is so important and too many are failing or just not training in this phase and that is a mistake

Larry you're the best of anyone on You Tube of reminding people to have fun with the dog (making it enjoyable) while training. Only a few others do that and they are selling stuff when they do it. If I could take my dog to anyone it'd be you!

Larry your still the CHAMP in my book. I love how your still showing step by step on how your doing things, But I caught he had no E-Collar on when he ran by you in circles & jump to a place . I'm catching onto your little tricks to stump us as your online students....lol But I still love it & you for breaking things down for everyone.

Larry I have a really bad problem with fleas here in Fla. that when I try to train them fleas come into action & I've tried every kind of drop & pill to get rid of them or keep them at bay, But I'm having no luck. Even mix of Permethrin isn't working. Do you have fleas this bad in Tenn.

Great video, loved the plot twist at the end. Good work 👍🏼👍🏼 my dogs are going in for 2 week training soon with e collar training included. We are excited to see the results and then learn how to continue it ourselves

Thanks Larry, we have been following your process carefully. You were clear in the other videos but this helps demonstrate exactly what you'd said. Great stuff

I love your videos. I'm always learning how to train my dog and have fun at the same time. quick question though would you know why my dog has a habit of scratching and barking at the ground. Has been doing it since I adopted him. just curious. I wish you were closer so I could send him to train with you. your by far one of the best.

I really love watching your videos they're also very informative. Ive never trained a dog before, but I plan on getting a German shepherd in the near future. What's a good age for them should I start training?? With them being young they're active and energetic. Just curious...

Thank you so much for your videos, I have enjoyed watching and learning from them. Do you keep your dogs in their e collar all day and only remove at bed/crate time?

Larry, thank you again for your added thoughts/comments. I am just beginning training with my 5 month Lab puppy. You have really set us off on the right foot and taught me how we can train and play at the same time. How much time would you say you spend each day training (generally speaking)? Sending much gratitude and respect!

Or, I guess I should ask, how much time would you recommend training at this beginning phase? I should also say I work from home and so have plenty of opportunity to train during the day. :)

Do you work off leash mostly in intermittent stage, in a safe environment?

Hey Larry. I am looking into getting a sportdog 425 wetland hunter e collar. Do you think this collar is suitable for the training methods you use? I've seen great results in your videos and will be attempting them with my Great Dane but would like your opinion on the collar before buying.

Larry Krohn thanks for the quick reply! Can you tell me why you don't like them? They are highly recommended and a little more expensive than the e collar you use.

I can't see Larry's reply on this? What is wrong with these ecollars as I've just got one for my dog and watching all of Larry's videos to make sure I do it right. I got that one as the choice in Australia is limited (and they're all about twice as expensive) so I wanted a high quality one that's completely waterproof so stayed away from the chinese knock offs with 100s of levels

hey Larry what age do you recommend starting e collar training?

He recommends past 6 months in his book. It’s best to use food before that.

How do you teach him not to go off the lawn/curb and into the street?

Larry Krohn I'm having trouble with my ecollar. My Skippy is quite afraid of it. I say "come", I tap, then he proceeds to sort of circle around the area, denying my food. It's the first day, so I'm guessing it'll get better, but this is still sort of annoying as he isn't accepting my food at all. It's funny because before I used the ecollar, I tried to call him to see if he remembered the command, and he came right away. Then I put the ecollar on and he just runs away...
@susanwhite7202

If he's afraid of it maybe you have it set to high?
@daneshovlin3217

You have to make sure hes on a leash and collar too, use that to guide him. This teaches them the language.
