HIIT training , can also help if it's in moderation. Just to push the lactate threshold which will allow for them to push harder for longer. More beneficial for long distance and I think when it comes to sprinting focusing on shorter sprints is most important so you can really focus on raising your top speed and less is more in both jumping and sprint training. Very hard to find the balance between enough and too much especially when you have a strong mind set and love the grind.
But just for the record (I will never criticize Bolt, he’s Superman) that’s not how you do hang cleans. He probably didn’t need to do them at all, but if anyone out there watches this and decides to do them…make sure you do them correctly(injury)
What helped me was doing frog Jumps uphil and Don't bust your nuts at least a day before you train for explosive starts. It makes you lose your explosive edge.
Yes in 2 years if you run 10 seconds, you will be the first person to ever run 10 seconds at 16 years old so yeah you probably will be in the Olympics if you run 10 seconds and 16 however most Olympians don't hit those times until they're around 21 years old 22 /23/ 24 years of age keep watching the videos on this RU-vid they are very very accurate to getting you to run as fast as you can in my opinion so you have the next 10 years to work on this 😀
