Scout learns how to walk by his humans side and sit when they are done walking in just 4 sessions. We offer nation wide private training and would love to do the same thing for your pup! www.paladink9training.com
If you want him to see you as god he only works and plays with you certanly no long lead ..so look at me obediance training then we play he loves me then his fetch 30min session
I actually use the "Close" command on my Doberman. When I say Close she sets up next to me in heel position but she's so close that she's connected to me. During long durations she lays on top of me feet watching everything that's happening around me. Ready to react if needed. I think the between the legs might inhibit her vision to protect. Just my two cents. Nicely done though.
Its a position for interacting with strangers. So the dog can put themselves in between you and the possible threat as quick as possible. A Dobermans looks are probably enough to scare most criminals from interacting with you.
I've had my Creed doing this since he was 6 months old but now it's hard to do because he's so fast with it sometimes his head hits me in the nuts so I don't do much anymore lol
You obviously have never owned a German. You don’t have to teach them to attack. My German is home trained and naturally stands between me and ANYTHING he considers a threat. Once they know placement it’s a very simple step to release him to protect. I find it hilarious instead of praising this incredible training you decide to critique. I’ll just go ahead and assume your dogs have zero training. What this young man is doing is impressive.
@@starkeyfarmstead first of all, this wasn’t a criticism it was me asking how this helps. Second of all, I just got a German shepherd puppy recently, did quite a bit of training with him, took the best care of him I knew how, vaccinations, pampering, even started looking for a trainer to do protection training. But maybe don’t speak on things you know nothing about, because he’s not trained, he’s dead. He died because of parvo, we have no idea how we get it and the vet said it was just something that happens sometimes and no one can save them. I suggest you maybe check your damn attitude before talking out of your ass.
If you want hin to see you as god always play god he cant run on long lead..just have him look at you do obediance tricks ..then play tug then 5 mins fetch thats it 2 30 mins sessions aday Any guard tŕainng makeing sure he done perceive false threats and place training
Love it! Nice video. Just got my GS girl she is full stock she’s almost 8 weeks rn but within 2 days of having her she has learned to sit, lay down & catch her lil foam football. ..lol she was trying to dribble the basketball last night. It is a beautiful thing. Thanks for the vid. Godbless!
Ok but how do you get him to be so focused on you i have a husky so of course he is very stubborn but i know he would do this easily in a home not outside but i do wanna do this outside but he’s easily distracted by other dogs or humans who try to get his attention i hate it
Here is my heel, middle is what youd expect, remember not to make them do obedience after learning a new trick or it will take some of the fun out of it. Simuler to teaching recall for first time as this is more unatural after being taught how to heel.
Ok now the dog is walking between your legs...but how does the dog know what to do in a dangerous situation, when to attack and when not? And is there any benifit of having a dog between your legs instead of next to you?
This doesn't have anything at all to do with teaching your dog to guard you - you are just using the word 'guard' to mean what most trainers call 'center'.
Haha this is my "solider" command. The reverse way is my "bodyguard" command. Definitely didn't use a lot of treats tho. For example put your dog in a environment with distractions. You'll see quick without a treat your dog won't perform quite like you'd think. Good work tho.
do you work for no money? this isn’t training to do tricks, this is teaching a working dog to do a job, so some transaction is necessary to make the behaviour rewarding.
Lmao you definitely want to this 70% of the time without treats just give them a lot of love but not to much. I don't know what this guy in the comments is talking about "Do you work for free" but he's obviously young. You don't seek reward while you work nor do you get rewarded at work, you are not a first grader. The object is to do your fucking job & gain skills & always perform at a rapid pace.. that's why they pay people when the week is OVER... once you get "treats" during work you start to get comfortable... Why you think people always say "I'm hungry for a chance"... You just aren't as hungry when you not hungry lmaooo.
@@PaulWeezy50 Well... It wasn't completely a waste of time. I at least got a laugh and a chuckle out of you didn't I? Got you huffing and puffing you gotta admit.
He dont seee you as god...STEP OUTSIDE meat strapped to chest train him to look at you and obediance tricks then play tug then his fetch thats ..work mental excercise physical excercise he can run miles in 5 mins of fetch
This is irresponsible. You should not put this kind of stuff on RU-vid. If people want to do protection work they need to go to someone and really learn how to do it firsthand in person. Too many people are going to take a little bit of information and make their dog a lethal weapon without really know what they are doing. There’s enough dog bites and dangerous dogs out there we don’t need more.
Your comment is stupid af. People are not gonna make protection dogs without knowing how to do so, that doesn’t make any sense. RU-vid is a resource so your entire opinion doesn’t make sense at all
People like me train dogs to go at whatever hand you have something in & if you have something in both hands that's even better cause a lot of us have 2 dogs READYY... And if you think you can stab 1... yet alone 2..... 60 pound beast flying at you like a bullet ready to snap your arm off and take it in the house to chew on then ILL PAY YOU TO TRESPASS ON MY PROPERTY 🤣💯 & even worse you know if a dog really snaps down & locks jaws on any part of your body your more than likely going to pass out... & If you stab it you are more than likely just going to piss it off... Seems like you'd been a goner EITHER WAY💀💯
