That's cool! I knew that Nights and Lights were two different varieties of Fury, but I did not know that the Light variant was adapted for living in the cave world. It makes total sense, even the coloration--animals that don't receive much sunlight don't bother with as much pigmentation that would protect them from sunlight because they don't need it.

MAN, I CRIED OVER THIS. Especially due to the fact that i've been a fan since the first movie. And rewatching it constantly, making me go through a emotional rollercoaster, once the last movie finished, and the credits started, i teared up. It just- it just made me cry, because this whole movies, i've watched endelessly, living for the movies, and being such a fan for these movies. It just made me cry. It was my goodbye, and honestly, it would be a lie if i didn't say that i was smiling, tearing up and standing there, in the cinema, watching the screen, dying inside.

From all of the older series and movies, I'm pretty sure that there was only 2 or 3 other places that even knew about Berk in the first place, and most of them owned very few dragons, if any. Most of the other viking people ever shown mostly used ships and hunted or worshipped dragons. Most never actually used them.

It's unlikely that Long Face survived the impact against the water. Contrary to popular belief, if you hit water at a high speed, the surface tension on impact is similar to that of concrete, and you'll be crushed from the intense force of impact. If the impact didn't crush him, he probably drowned unable to pull himself to shore before either the cold shock or hypothermia kills him. (It is presumably somewhere Northern if these are Vikings.)

To answer your confusion about the jumping off of the dragon to just end up landing next to the dragon having any strategic advantage; being in a seperate place to an ally means that if one of you is shot down the other can help where as if you we’re together and both got captured at the same time then you would have to escape from capturedness together while both of you are being captured

It'll be the equivalent to dropping 300-400ft onto a solid cement block. Considering the fact he landed on his back, the impact from landing on the water is sure enough to knock the wind out of him, whilst falling under the waves, would cause him to drown immediately if the impact didn't kill him. It's still theoretically survivable, but very unlikely. You can fall around 200 feet into the water and live, as long as you land correctly (Feet first, ankles locked together, arms crossed over your chest, hand clamped over your nose/mouth). It's not quite like falling onto concrete, because after the impact, you start sinking. And while you can survive a fall from quite a long distance in the right posture, good luck swimming back to the surface with a broken leg.
