He looks so hot with the tongue out? Have you been on a walk? Or you just live in warm area? :( I feel bad for him, I think he needs way lower temperature in the house :( . I want Samoyed myself. What would be your recommendation for cooling him down during summers. I was thinking about having always plastic box filled with ice somewhere in the house to lay in it. And then use it for gardening or work once it melts. Your experience with overheating of Samoyed?
He sometimes gets a little warm by the fireplace when we film, so we try not to keep him there very long. Most of the time, we give him a giant Yeti frozen ice pack to keep him cool during our filmings and warm summers. We don't recommend Igloo ice packs as they don't get as cold or stay cold for too long. They also puncture easily if your pup is a chewer.
