The only reason why I wanted to move my channel to a branded one was cuz I recently got scammed on Google chat. I blocked and reported the person. But they had still messaged me under new accounts. But I don't want any contact with this person. But Google doesn't let you change your email address you have to create a whole new account which I don't understand why. So then I found out about moving personal channel to branded channel to change my account. But now idk because I worked hard to get my RU-vid channel they way it is and don't wanna lose it. I just don't think I'm ready to risk it all up The scammer hasn't messaged me anymore but I feel they still can as long as they know my email which is what I'm afraid of

@@waterwaveybaby The only thing to be aware of is that you'll lose all previous comments that you've made on your own or other videos. Everything else transferred across fine, but the comments from my 'previous' account disappeared.

One more question. If I use Epidemic sound for my personal account, would it remain suitable for the new brand accounts I create (since brand account is under the same email address) without buying subscription again? Thanks

You just just have to go into your account settings in Epidemic Sound and change the existing RU-vid URL to the new Brand account so that URl does not get claims.. Even if it's under the same email, the channel URLs are different. so update yr account with the new URL

Buh why is it so difficult to create a branded youtube account directly... I have tried several times to create a RU-vid account to "manage my business"option as it pops up during the process still at the end i will find myself creating a personal account.

@@b-robproductions I never had a problem setting up brand accounts from the start but it has been well over a year since I did create a brand account so perhaps things are weird now with that. But I thought I'd throw it out there that I never had a problem creating brand accounts from the start and I've set up several.

Just leave the personal as it is. but if you want to delete it, you can too.

Can i invite another gmail address to manage a brand account? Reasons i asked is because, the gmail connected to my youtube channel was disabled for Adsense two years ago without my knowledge, i think someone used it for Adsense and violated the rules, so Adsense was disabled for that gmail. But now that is the same gmail i am using for my official youtube channel and all these while i have been chasing watch hour and subscribers for monetization, now i have gotten the sub and monetization, i applied for Adsense but they referred that this gmail i am using for my youtube channel was previously used for Adsense on a website and it was also disabled, and for this my application was rejected. Which brings me of asking if i can change gmail address on that channel through branding so I can apply to Adsense with a different gmail but same youtube channel that i have suffered to grow all these while.
