Thank you.....I live in the Philippines and want to grow strawberries all year long. I currently have about 20 plants which have produced zero strawberries. I was successful at growing lettuce in my hydrophonic system but have wanted to start using the kratky method. Very interested in knowing how to be successful so your video has been a Godsend. Thanks again.

Strawberries are more difficult; there’s a masterblend strawberry formula that came out, which knowing the right NPK formula is important, plus make sure you don’t have a deficiency of liquid calcium and magnesium; Everyone I know and have seen with a successful bed of hydro strawberries uses a pumping system rather then the Kranky method stand alone, which works best with greens, tomatoes and peppers; a circulation pump gets a better air flow quality to the roots; just a couple of suggestions….. ; )

In the spring I squirted a micro dwarf tomato onto a hanging pot not expecting much..well it took off and is just now producing fruit..so I'm thinking of bringing a few of them inside..this video helped me plan how thanks!

Did you show the results of the strawberries ? What NPK ratio did you use ? Everyone I know has had a hard time growing hydro strawberries in a stand alone system, I was wondering how yours came out….. *BTW, did you make your grow tent yourself or buy it ?! I still don’t have one and I just don’t want to buy those cheap Amazon tents…….

My grandson got to enjoy one or 2 strawberries every week all winter long! ru-vid.comdwiCDQXN1N0. The tent I have is a Mars Hydro - love it and thinking of getting a second small sized one for next winter's indoor growing.

How often do you change the solution or do you just add to original mixture as it goes down?

I usually just top up the plants. This winter I was having trouble with my cucumbers, so I tried a full refresh on them and it seems to make a big difference. Got lots of cucumbers now! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0j3l3jTPweA.html
