You should add light under the shelf that's just above your work space. Love the amazon desk chair. I like the cane chairs with that table you would have to change the color, but those are so special. 😊
Hi Liz, I like both chair choices, but I think the Amazon chair has the gold legs which seem to match up with the cupboard handles. Maybe the 2 from the thrift shop could go into a den together as guest chairs or in a bedrm or on a deck outside. Your ideas are always GREAT. Thank You
As pretty as this is with the dark paint, it would make me so sleepy. I would have painted it a lighter color and maybe do the dark on the far wall. That's my personal preference though. I like my work areas lite and breezy. Love the cabinets with the built in desk & shelves.
Your space turned out great. For the chair I would go for comfort….The dark color works since you have awesome light for the area. Not sure about the velvet drapes…all that matters is that you love it!! You guys did a ton of work. Great job to both of you
Love your ideas. You make it look so easy. I have a VERY small master bathroom. My husband passed recently and I wanted the shower in our bathroom gone. It reminded me of him everything I went in as I never used it. I asked the contractor if there was a way to put a tub in its place and if not to just remove it all together and make it a closet. He was wonderful and made it happen. I now have a tub o. One side and a small vanity and toliet across from it. I am in need of ideas for what to do with the very small space behind the toliet next to my 28 inch vanity

Hi. I would also have to have a LARGE pantry!! But sadly this idea of yours with your house wouldn’t work in my current home. My ideal pantry is actually a VERY old Walgreens commercial where you opened the standard corner pantry door and it magically opened to a warehouse/ grocery store!!!!! You could get ANYTHING you wanted food wise at your beckoned call!!! The owner was the only one who could access the grocery and a magic wall covered it up if they opened that door!!! It was sooo awesome!! Ha. That DEFINITELY is on my bucket list for my next house!! 💕💕💕💕
I feel you have too many art prints on the bookshelves, and you're missing actual books! Do books & pottery. The room is very pretty, I'm just not a fan of so much matching & all the brass & wood. I like to mix and match textures and patterns with material and wood. Would like to see where you all eat now that you lost the dining room!!
Hi Liz, awesome transformation! So I loved the thrifted chairs when you showed them and even commented then because they really caught my eye however in the office space I like the Amazon chair. In my opinion I feel like it goes with the light fixture, the curtain rod, door knows and pulls, etc. Really love the paint color BTW. Thanks for sharing !

The office is gorgeous! I also really like the Amazon chair t, I really love the vintage cane chair. Question, did you sand and seal the inside of your cabinets like you did the shelves. Do suggest painting or staining the inside of any cabinets used in a kitchen, or pantry? I really enjoy your video’s. 😺☮️
Definitely the Amazon chair as it goes well with your curtain rods & chandelier. I would have put more books on the shelves and add some black-ie a potted plant on the side table or candle sticks. Such a lovely room. Thanks for sharing ☺️

dark colors inside are depressing to me but to each his own. I'm just curious as to your tv above the fireplace in the living room. How do people watch tv with the placement of your furniture?
The Amazon chair but I like that thrifted chair but that white modern chair looks better in the office. Wow!!!! the two rooms you made are more than fabulous. Good idea.
Amazon chair only because you have the other two chairs with the rattan on the opposite wall. Stand alone, I prefer the thrifted chair, but think it's too much if you use the thrifted chair AND the other two chairs at the table.

Liz, this is a good idea for your way of life, my concern is the sizes of the table and chairs in the new office, on camera they almost look too large for the space, especially with you sitting at desk. Also do the drapes match the walls? my monitor may be at fault but the walls read darker blue and drapes a dark green. All in all, the office turned out quite nicely and perfect for you and that's what matters
I love the wall color but I just like a light bright workspace. I love the velvet green curtains. I would have used a light cream wall color and had an accent wall between cabinets. I would have used a light color wood stain on the cabinets to bring warmth to the room. I love the table, and I would have put the 2 cane chairs at the table and used the Amazon desk chair at the desk. I love the two chairs you purchased and had at the table. They would make great chairs for bedrooms or deck.
Liz, a little trick with your rollers instead of buying multiples if you’re gonna do your project and at least a 24 hour period you can take and wrap the roller with saran wrap loosely, then take and cover that with foil and your roller will still be wet the next day from the paint and not dry and then you can go in and use it but at the end of the project, I recommend throw that roller away and start over with the new one for the next one. But buying multiple rollers for a projectjust a little trick.
Wonderful use of this space in your home. Love the color and decorative pieces. Although the thrifted chair is great, I prefer the new chair as it doesn’t make the space look heavy as the scale is similar to the other two chairs in the space.
The office transformation is very nice with the exception of painting all the moulding the same color as the walls. I think you missed an opportunity to have the lovely deep wall color really pop.
I would put the 2 thrift chairs with the marble table if are the right height. Same with the amazon office chair if it is the right height for the desk.
