I've been looking for something like this for over 5 years. The first time that I've seen a video that I can actually understand. I even had a video with multiple djs on it just talking about scratching.

Thank you so much for breaking down these scratch techniques! It is a bit of a challenge for me to learn how to apply scratch techniques during the music transitioning process. I honestly thought I could get a way with not counting beats but after watching your video, now I understand the importance of it

@mirekhubacek3276

@@DJLiftOFF I'd like to ask something similar. What if you bring the new song a little bit off beat with the first track, how do you achieve to sync the new song correctly? I assume by CDJ mode, but how do you do it if the scratch mode is on? I hope my question doesn't sound overly complicated. I'm just wondering that even an experienced dj cannot hit the beat after scratching every single time...

The cross fader supposed to be loose or tight feeling?
@DJLiftOFF
@DJLiftOFF 2 года назад
If your cross fader is adjustable, it’s def personal preference. But for me, I like mine pretty loose for sure. Not too loose to the point where you have no control, but loose enough that it’s moves back and forth fluidly

I’m having a hard time understanding the bars and beats your using to explain when to scratch.. ik it’s just me because I’m not used to it. But can u explain your “three and”, and how to count the beats? I caught on how to count the bars. This would be a big big help ty in advance :)

What settings do you have for your “Mixer”. You didn’t specify what your crossfader options are. If that makes sense. Thanks for the lesson ✊🏾
@DJLiftOFF
@DJLiftOFF 2 года назад
I have a video where I actually show my mixer settings called “how to use the crossfader…” But really, it’s just making sure the curve knob/setting on your mixer is set to fast, which also means set all the way to the right. You can also do this in your DJ software with some controllers, depending on what you’re using!
