Hey Ethan, you should do a video on catching barn pigeons. I spent an hour with a friend and caught 10. I used an extension pole which goes to 16 feet. Duct taped a fishing net on the end. We just waited till dark, closed all the doors , put on a head lamp and killed the lights. It was a riot. The net guy would snag one, and the other guy would pull it out of the net and out it in the cage. The farmer loves me for cleaning them out. Would probably get lots of views as it's sort of hectic, but fun. Fred from Toronto...
hey I'm just wondering about your easy lead I purchase one from you guys that don't eat for pointers cuz I've had it on my lab on and off for a couple of months and the dog just will not get used to it back in his face into the ground trying to get off its cause somebody so I mean it scraped those up and everything else so I can't use it cuz it's damaging it safe so are they did for pointers or what thank you
Why don’t you just make a loft that allows the bird to go in on its own.... might be easier then trapping then all the time. I do appreciate the respect you have for the pigeons though. They are extremely intelligent birds and deserve respect.
How far away do I need to take the 6 feral pigeons I need to remove from the neighborhood so they do not return? If I take them 40 miles and leave them around a portion of a birdseed block to keep them there for a few days, will that work? Or do I need to take them 100 miles (totally willing to do)…?
Another great video, thank you! A buddy and I are very close to getting our own pigeons and I also have a trap I want to use to have some kill birds on hand. Is there a trick to knowing which are homers and which are feral?
