It's super pretty there, for being a city that is re-built and relatively new. Very "resort-y." It reminds me a bit of pictures my friend has sent me of Panama City Beach, Florida. How nice to have a chance to stay in comfortable hotel accommodations after the relative "roughing it" in hostels. Sweet deal! And fast internet: total bonus. Safe travels to Las Canarias. I hope perhaps you've heard from Lila. Peace.

Besides checking the prices through those booking sites I also use Google street view to cruise around the neighborhood and get an idea if it's nice or trashy. Street view isn't everywhere, but you'll be surprised where it's been.

Hope it works out for you! Airbnb doesn't give an actual address, but sometimes there is a picture of the outside from the street. Using their "blue circle" location map it's sometimes possible to find the place on street view. It is like an Easter egg hunt when I get lucky.

Love your videos! I'm planning on going on my own backpacking trip for a couple of months (around 4). Only thing is, as dumb as this might sound, what do you normally do while backpacking? Just walk around and enjoy the day? I've never traveled for that long to any location.

Yeah I do a lot of walking around and of course in my case I'm also filming and editing videos. But don't worry about that too much, you will definitely find plenty to do! Going on tours, hiking, trying to find a temple or a waterfall, meeting people and going to restaurants or cafes, and lots of other stuff.

I know you should wait until spring or summer when it gets warmer but you will love how cheap it will be for you, and scenery is amazing. Not just in the city but out in the country as well. Even if a place is not historically interesting, a brief tour just for the rest of us to see what a place is like is nice. A little more on the food would also be good. You spent a little more time on your Mexican and Guatemalan meals in previous videos and had me wanting to be there too. Some other general constructive criticism might also be to not so abruptly point the camera at your feet while walking (I feel like I'm going to do a forward somersault,) and maybe take it just a little slower on some of the pans. The foot thing was a little jarring on your otherwise excellent video where your truck broke down, and you were later temporarily "lost in woods." Either of these experiences would have caused many to panic. You were impressively calm (at least on camera, right?) and took action to do what you wanted to get done. Your videos are interesting and your calm, down to earth demeanor lends credibility for sure. Keep up the good work.

How did you deal with transportation from the airport to the hotel. I heard the taxi drivers most of the time they try to rip you off?

I took the bus from the airport into Marrakesh. I showed that in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OkQSDU2v8vc.html However I took taxis a couple times and it worked out okay. Taxis are always a bit of a headache so I try to avoid them myself, but sometimes you just have to take one.

you really have to go to the al ahad souk its a big traditional market of agadir you can take a red taxi to go there and you will see there different products like argan oil and other stuff. don't miss the blue city of Chefchawen you really have to visit it you'll regret it if you don't it's a small and beautiful different city

There is like more cheaper and nice hotels up in the city, not too close to the beach but not too far, you can get a room with around 15$

Gabe, would like to show you in your video the lights above the bed in the room go on and off with the shutter speed of your camera, check it out. That is because, lights go on and off with the cycle of the electricity in the room and your camera actually catches this. cool science tip of the day:) peace!

Yes, try booking.com, hostelworld, agoda and airbnb and you can find plenty of places to stay with attached bathroom, both hostels and hotel rooms.

How long have you had it for? Because I think it can be used for 14 days for free after downloading it. And then yes you will have to pay for it. It should be only around $39? Or maybe $50, something like that. That's pretty cheap at least compared to a lot of the other video editors.

I didn't care for Casablanca. I liked both Tangier and Rabat. They're very different. Tangier is much more modern whereas Rabat has a fascinating old city. There are videos of all of these cities on my channel. You can find them by searching for the name of the city and then add "gabriel traveler" in the search box on youtube.

Monica Mel one advice : always make your bag on front of you in the popular souks not on your back becaus some pick-pockets try to export this technic from paris to marrakech. don't show them your i phone high in the popular place in casablanca city, el jadida city and Sale city about the south and the north of morocco not problem the most of people are amazigh and berber becaus arab people is a little (rude) ! but the most of them are kind and generous -negociate price of every things yes every things -don’t care for street-sellers it’s her habit to talk with tourist -don’t accept help of false guide in the souks -Hane hands-tato price is not more than 5 dollars. 2 cup of Harirra soup 1 dollars in morocco you are safe not like Brazil or South africa food is clean too and weapon shop is not legal Search for chefchaouen city ans Assilah city the blue pearl on youtube peaceful town

lol wtf?..but it doesnt surprise me since there is so much false info in this video..you can eat for 2 euro in every city...you can sleep in every city for under 5 euro, train is almost for free and super fun to ride..buses are cheap too...in the big cities you have everything u have in europe or the us... in the desert u have no mc donalds...in the mountains you dont have one either..

Another tip from travelling cheap in Morocco: NEVER buy anything on the streets, no matter how aggressive the salesmen are. Don't feel guilty or shamed because you did not buy anything , just remember to say politely no.

Great video! I just came back from Morocco, Marrakesh is a tourist trap zone especially in the Medina, where I stayed for 3 days before heading to the desert. As a solo female traveler I was on guard even when buying water lol I'm new to RU-vid check out my channel if you have a chance.

Trini Ramirez i just returned from China and i flew air china i enjoyed air china but the two things i didnt like is 1- they wont allow you to look out windows you have to keep shade closed at all times and 2- no electronics are allowed at any time no phone computer and no airconditioning on plane

Informative video but with no good reasons said to go there. I went to a conference about travelling to Morocco and the guide said Morocco would be a great country if it wasn' t for the people living there. That says it all. At least, the guy was honest if not a great business man......

The people have been really awesome in Morocco. It's been all around great and a lot of interesting things to see, though it might not be your kind of destination. I've heard about a lot of places I didn't get around to seeing on this trip that I'd like to come back to visit sometime when it's warmer.
