Useful vid Sam. Another tip I’ve fo bd useful regarding a harness is to wear it, minus the spreader bar of course. I wear it under my tshirt and take it off once on board
I only just realised coming back from Mauritius getting married with three heavy board bags 80kg in total of kitesurfing equipment 🙈. That you clip the roller board bag to the trolley OMG so much easier 🤣🤣🤣🙈
nice video! very interesting. My board board should be heavy because I can only fit 2 boards and 2 kitesOr this is my refraction that is too heavy :) The last piece of advise put golf tags on your board bags. Most companies don't charges over sizes for golf bags
Completely depends on the airline. Thats why its important to check the policy's before to figure out the cheapest option, some companies its considered normal baggage, other companys sports baggage. The Golf trick does not work anymore though.
Love your kitesurfing tips so I'll return the favour and provide a tip to you. You are using that toothbrush wrong, you need to rest it on each tooth and let the action of the brush do the work :-)
Really useful video. Don't you have to declare that you are carrying kitesurf equipment? Usually they are "fixed price" with no weight limit but not cheap €50 each way being a typical charge..
it varies a lot but i find the best thing is to do lots of research about the companies policy before flying so you can figure out how to beat the system
Check in people aren't too clued up on the difference of kitesurfing and windsurfing by looking, however the weight allowance for each is different with Jet2. I always take my gear as windsurfing shiz, 32kg BOSH! Tell them it's kitesurfing they only spaff you 20kg BOOO!
You’ve missed one of the main one! Since every oversize baggage need to be bring by the passenger into a different location during that walk you can add as many kg as you want into that since the baggage was already weighted. The problem is that in some airports the oversize is not into a different location than the check in! Than you are f***
