Very good explanation regarding the pressure of the treflip and I love your POW concept ! It really nuances the explosion that we have to give on the board. Excellent work !

Damn, this was such a good video! 💯 I subscribed even before I finished watching it. 😅 I have never seen anyone put that much emphasis on the pressure before, and I have watched a million treflip tutorials. I am out treflipping every single day, more or less, and I just can't get them. Any advice is greatly appreciated! I keep getting the damn board behind me and I am not sure if I am not in the backseat enough or if it is my scoop (or something else) that is messing with the trick. Later this evening when I do my daily attempts, I will try to focus on the pressure! 😊👍

Wow thank you so much. Its this type of encouragement and feedback that motivates me to keep going. So about 80-90% of the tre is the back foot. The scoop. If you are landing in front of the board then definitely put your body weight way more in the back seat. Something I forgot to mention is that after you put the pressure and scoop when landing jump to the side. Like the way your body is facing. I said in the video to jump forward but its actually forward and to the side. Your toe side. Start curling your back foot toes around the back corner of the tail. That pressure the bushings tilting to the front foot side first creates a spring for the back foot to scoop. Then we can flip and then stop the rotation with the front foot and catch. So practice scooping and catching with the front foot. Stopping the rotation with the front foot. Body weight in the back seat and jumping to the side. If you are landing in front of the board then now we can start catching with the front foot so the board i in front of you. Please Let me know how how it goes. I can’t wait for you to stomp one. It’s going to feel great.

@@rollingwithrene Thanks, the fight goes on! I tried to apply more pressure yesterday evening and I definitly saw a difference. Although, I think it's the scoop or my balance (or both) that is messing up my tre. I can do the practice step fine, where I am intentionally putting my back foot on the ground and catches the 360 flip with my front foot only, but when I try to commit and land with both feet, the board almost always goes too far behind me or I don't get the full rotation. I struggle to find my balance, when committing to land on the board, which probably effects my scoop in a bad way. I have worked on the trick more or less every day during the summer, and every day I am trying something new which I hope will help me land that damn trick lol!
