I recall 8 or 10 yrs back, the Prodigal Son was the subject of the lesson & I was leading out in the discussion. As we dismissed, someone asked about the older brother..."Will he saved?" I never considered that before...but my answer was No. To tell the truth, that question comes to mind frequently because, in a way I think of myself as that older brother/sibling. Big sibling looked down on the younger. Was there love there? Doesn't seem so. Even father reproached the dutiful heir. "We should celebrate, for your junior was dead and is now alive!" Senior sibling didn't want to join in...he was angry because junior squandered the means given. Most of all, he forgot his father's heart was broken so much so, every day father went out to see if junior was coming home. When the marriage supper of the Lamb is going on, I don't want to be outside pouting & miss all the fun. There's plenty of room at the table.🙏 Amen?

This is so true. I do this to others. I have come to accept that I should not expect any more for myself.

Thanks Shawn , How true it is that all human beings are created by a loving God who cares for them no matter how they look, or the money they have! Heaven's eternity will be just as it should for each child of God!! Looking for Jesus to come again very soon! Thanks for sharing!
