How To Troll Dodgers For Trout

I found the video helpful & interesting, a very good summary. I've never tried trolling with dodgers or flashers. 1) Do you think dodgers/flashers would work for Lake Whitefish? 2) What types of fish respond well to dodgers & flashers? 3) When your fishing dodgers do you ever have other types of fish strike the dodger? Quick question. When you mentioned adding a 6" dodger to ONE LINE ONLY, to begin with, because it might be enough to create multiple hits... with that dodger being a potential drawback, to fighting a fish, do you ever put the dodger on the downrigger ball? Then again, you could be fishing without a downrigger, or have a very long set back. But, is this something that could be of benefit?

You never really talked much about apex lures these are absolute trout killers. What is ur opinion of them? We are still old time ford fender users. What is ur opinion of those over dodgers?
