How to tune the new Segway Ninebot Max G2 with Android in 2 min. - 32kmh
In this Video I'm going to show you how you can tune/ speed hack your new Segway Ninebot Max G2 very easy. You just need a BLE Scanner App and you can bring it easily up to 32/33 kmh by switching the hex code.
Firmware should be 1.3.5 or newer. I tried with the 1.3.5 and some out my Community told me that it also worked with 1.3.6
Let me know in the Comments if it worked and which speed you've achieved.

Thanks mate, I can confirm that this works for the Australian model with 1.7 firmware. The acceleration seems to be a bit weaker than it used to be, but happy to reach 32/33 km/h.

I have a question can you change the speed after you did this on the sliding bar in the ninebot app? Like it is going 32 can i open the app and change it back to 25 on the ninebot app?

Same procedure as mention in video. Maybe some segway with different serial number behaves differently? Mine just worked

Same here. I noticed if you open the ninebot app immediately after adding the code in the ble app, the max speed slider for sport mode goes up to 40kph, but as you scroll to full that value gradually drops back down to 25... Very strange

I am confused as to why premium scooter companies like Vsett and Inokim do not include electric horns or turn signals on their products, which people often ride on the roads. Segway seems to be leading the way in this category. I also appreciate the designs of other brands, but it would be beneficial to include these technological features.

Is this code for switching from 22mph to 32mph or is it kmh? your description says kmh but the top speed on the max is 22mph . Will this code work the same for a US scooter? Iv'e never done this before does it flash the scooter or its just a simple click? Does this risk the scooter getting fried ? Is it able to handle a higher speed? How would it void the warranty if you can always change the code back?

Hi, Great vid, works for older software but does this work for Max G2 with 1.7 software? I read that (if it does work) the speed reduces from 32kph to 25kph at 40-50% battery. Using the video process there is no figure in the "properties". only has Properties: write,write_no_respons. There is nothing for HEX. What number do I use? Please help Thanks

Ich habe den Tuning-Code per BLE-Scanner geflasht ... die Geschwindigkeit ist auf 30 km gestiegen ... ABER gestern habe ich meine Firmware auf der Original-App aktualisiert und die alten Einstellungen wiederhergestellt ... 25 km usw. .... Ich habe es noch einmal mehrmals mit dem Tuningcode und BLE-Scanner versucht, aber 30 km sind nicht mehr aktiviert.

Xiaodash, go basic, go select region, select custom serial, write 01GX……. (Remaining same either the orginal code). Mission complete for 1.4.4 and 1.4.8. Enjoy

Hey. Just got the max g2e eu version yesterday. Got it running 36.5 kph eith 1384w peak eith xiaodash and segway ninebot app. No other mods etc. I also have the us options in ninebot app , Cruise control etc. My question is, should I be worried frying something with the 1384w peak ? In Sweden we can only drive in 20km/h and scooter can have maximum power of 250W, that's not enough for some heavy riders even.

250W ???? my god, in Switzerland it's 20km/h and 500W and I'm complaining strongly because of the W.... as we have so many hills it's a kind of impossible to climb.

@@bluepawn Yep, almost no scooters actually have 250W though, if you ride "normal" and don't draw any attention to yourself and have a scooter looking legal, than it shouldn't be to much problem though. But yes, 250 isn't good for more then going forward.

the version of this scooter in Australia is way different, no indicators or reflectors, and the carry lock / bell (it's all one piece) is on the left seems super stripped back ok, turns out what i bought was the G65, not the Max G2. probably won't see the G2 coming to Australia >~>;;
