My bestie and eye used to buy plaster items and go through a process to paint them and finish to protect the job. I now have a wild eyed bunny to remember one of our artistic adventures now that she has gone on to our permanent art / craft studio in Heaven! What fun to look forward to!

I know crochet is something you love but I seriously enjoy your art-tube maybe even more than your yarn-tube. In all honesty I wasn't planning on joining in to make a journal. But I do keep a couple journals. Watching you today has totally inspired me to make one. I am a former art teacher and sometimes I don't want to bring out all the things because I get totally lost and forget other things, like housework 😅. Okay, truth time. I take pictures of my artwork and put them on greeting cards. I also make prints, frame them, or use the online company, Easy Canvas, and have the art put on canvases. I sell those canvases, donate them for charity auctions, or give as gifts. So many possibilities.

I am FINALLY getting caught up on watching my, "watch later", list! Life has been CRAZY! I really really enjoyed this video. I have so many different die cuts and machines from my scrapbooking days that would be great for journaling. I think I am going to dust off those machines and get to making some designs! And I have so many art pens and pencils that are just sitting here. Time to dust those off too! I will be working on a Bible journal. I have several sermon notes that I want to study further. I love the flower you painted on here!

Hi Kayla! I had my paints out to use my brayer on acrylics, then run the brayer over sheets of labels to create them for my junk journals. When I clicked on your video, I grabbed a composition notebook and am painting along with you! I will join in to create an art journal...who knows, I may end up using finished pages as background pages in junk journals. Thanks for sharing!

Today is Saturday in my world. I've been working on a blanket using the feather stitch. It's the first time I've tried this stitch. It looks lovely, but it is a yarn eater. Praise the Lord for electricity! Life can become less stressful and challenging. ❤

I had such a laugh. My hairdryer moved too but came back one day with the message "its broken". After i bought the child another one I dont know why but i plugged mine in and guess what, it works! The child was using it at such heat and length of time that it reached overheating stage and did a safety cut-off. I still have the so called "broken" one and keeping a watchful eye on it.

Watching/listening to this, while I am crocheting on the Elsa inspired knitted gown for her AG Kavi she got as a birthday gift last year. The dress I designed from a basic pattern and it was too short, my model was 30some odd years old, so I am adding crochet lace to it, bottom is done and one sleeve edge, only have the second sleeve edge left. I love watching your process, I am tempted to make one now, but I need to finish the rearrange of my room first. We had road construction all last summer til end of Nov, so I had to put things different so nothing broke, I rent a room in a Victorian, so it shook.

I have heard that Acrylic paints will dry out and ruin markers, even the Sharpees. I’m enjoying your process. It’s making me want to dig out my art supplies.

I was cleaning the house a little, got caught up in the vacuum cord and fell. I have bad balance issues from torn Achilles tendons a few years ago. I scraped a good amount of skin off my forearm. So I finished running the vacuum and now I'm feeling sorry for myself and veggin on the couch. 😂

I love the holey strip. I used to use it to do halftones on pop art pieces of artwork. I never know what to call it! I want to get an actual stencil like that but what would I even search for?!😂 I love this example and what you wrote, I've never tried anything like this and I cant wait to get started. I have alot I want to say about my spinal leak and lots of other things I'm dealing with, this is perfect. I use every medium, I have lots of art supplies buried somewhere that I need to dig out.
