In this video I'm showing how to create multiple layers in Cricut Design Space. I show how I found this image on the internet and how to clean up the image. By making multiple layers you are able to use different colors for your adhesive vinyl or HTV projects.

Hey Kayla!! Great Video, seriously this is what I needed!!! Amazed at the dept you went into. Since I have a PC Tech Channel and it's my expertise I wanted to share this with you. My buddy gave me his Razor Death Ader mouse, it's like a $70 mouse. I would always use super cheap ones like from Dell, or HP, the super cheap Logitech ones (Even tho they have great high end mice) and I always thought having a good mouse was kind of a waste of money, but once I started using the Razor Mouse I noticed how much more pin point accurate it was, and I could never go back to using a cheap one. Excellent Video!!!! Keep up the great work!!

You can also get a cleaner image when using the Complex option, You select complex and then over to the left select the advanced option, and then change the section with the number 16 to 100 and it works just the same way. Even better honestly. Depending on the image you can even go from 16 to 20 and that also works the number is going to depend on the image.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I‘ve tried to do that according your instructions but it seems the software has been changed. With the multilayer the lines are blurred and with single layer I can‘t choose the single parts of the picture. Is there an update with the new Cricut app?

The page after you upload will allow you to change the colors to two. Then just select the single layer image upload. Everything else should be the same! I was wondering too.

I’m trying to contour a reindeer picture with lashes and a Santa hat 5 different colors ...BUT the Santa hat is attached to the antlers and when I select that area the whole thing is selected ... is there an easier way for me to do this on the example I’m giving ? Any help is appreciated...

You can! You would select all the layers then flatten. It will turn the whole thing into a print then cut image.
