Dude my mom and I just watched this video together and before it was even over she took off to go do the glass on her livingroom coffee table!!! Like literally, as I write this she is on her way to go do the technique you just showed on this video! I will post the finished product as soon as she sends it to me lol. Thanks for the inspiration! How did you do the gold veining with the gold spray paint?? You started explaining then answered a question and never went back to explaining it. Do you spray it over the etched veining you made and rub off excess or do you spray it on the other side of the glass?? And do you do the tongue oil before or after you do the gold veining?????
I would love to do an elephant stencil with the gold, as I have an Asian themed living room. With the same colors you used, I would love to see how that is done.
With the tongue oil it becomes real rich an earthy colored. Again I’m not using pure tongue oil I’m using tongue oil finish which is different. If you want to keep the pastel look just hit it with the spray paint
I did this on my coffee tables and love them! My daughter wants the same effect on her dresser, got it all sanded down, but before I start, will this technique work on wood as well or is it more of a glass thing?
Totally thought that kitty was going to get black unicorn spat on in the beginning 🤣 Actually though if that happens, or if a pet walks through some wet stain, is it toxic to them? Or will they be ok if they lick it a couple times before I can get to them to wash it off?
you talk to much, please get to the point. don't tell us where to get blade's etc, all that coll by goop. we dont have the patience to sit and watch and listen. we dont care if your a gold girl, etc . omg its gets on your nerves. but you do good work but talk to much,
Yes! But I I would suggest not leaving it in direct sunlight as glass usually doesn’t have any UV protection. Moisture from rain could also prove to be problematic. Good news is, you could scrape & change your color combos as often as it fades!
