As of may 8, 2023. The selections you use are not available in ios. You can only set up 2 factor authentication - How do you remove it?

@Smith Adams - Yep, I can't figure out how to actually turn OFF the 2 factor authentication (steps) on my PC ON FACEBOOK. It can't be seen in the setups and I'm told that technique has been discontinued and I'm stuck big time. I can eventually get in but when I'm logged out again. But when I turn it off from the security and password section. I get logged out immediately and I must turn it on to log back into my account. This is my issue pls

@didith_annev6949 umm I resolved the issue, they will ask for your pic ID, take a screen shot and they will email you back, will give you permission to log in on facebook web browser. Then when u log in go settings change authentication code to your phone #
