Hi @jokast8861, in this case it depends entirely on the creator, Id suggest you request a translation directly in a comment to the creator of the videos so he/she can add them its really easy for them, but sometimes we don’t know from where we are being watched so we don’t know which languages to add
@@EntrepreneurMommie Thank you. I was using capcut. I see that Final Cut Pro is free for the first 90 days. I am new to RU-vid so I was looking for free software until the channel started generating revenue. How long have you been on RU-vid?
Yes this usually works on the app, I recommend you to download it if possible, from the user perspective I like better to use the app, on a browser on desktop works as well but have not tested it on safari, which browser did you use?
How do you make it where the captions stay on at all times. I have to turn it on for every videos I watch because every time I change videos on my iPad they automatically turn off.
You can go to RU-vid settings and then go to playback and performance and subtitles and closed captions then check both checkmarks for always show captions and include auto-generated captions
How do you get the closed captioning to stay on? Most of us don’t have issues of turning them on, it’s the issue that they go off and have to be turned on again for each video. It hasn’t always been this way, something has changed. I watch RU-vid on my phone and the settings show that closed captioning is set to always on where closed captioning is available. Can anyone help with this?
Hi @mypebroittiramisu1510, sometimes I’ve found they don’t appear, it might be an issue on youtube automatic subtitles. Or the creator didn’t upload them either. So you can maybe raise the issue to youtube and see how they can help
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and actually commenting on it, this really helps my channel a LOT! @matthewskanksworth6556. Maybe you can create a minute video for your community 😉
Soooo, what do I do if subtitles are on, but nothing is showing up?? This isn't specific videos either, it's every single video. I can't find anyone else with this problem. This is specifically in the app.
@@EntrepreneurMommie hm, so it's working now after enabling private DNS on android with cloudflare I have no idea WHY that seems to have fixed it though
Hey @hbhbs1191, if there is no option for the language is because the creator did not upload other languages to their videos, if you have a favorite creator I recommend you ask him/her for the subtitles on your preferred language so he/she can consider adding them
what if the video i watch on youtube have only korean subtitles i can't understand korean so i need english cc but there haven't english option Ps: sorry for my wrong grammar
Hello Maryjean, the thing is that the subtitles are added or setup either automatically or by the creator, so if you are watching a video that is in Korean maybe the creator only added that language in his subtitles, however he could also add subtitles in another language if he’d like to, and in that case you should see the option when you click on the cc
Ah ok that means that the creator didnt add the subtitles so viewers can activate this option, you can ask the creator to add the subtitles and I am sure they be happy to do it 😊
