The shortcut to scroll blending modes was new to me. I was wondering about the fill command. I use that a lot too on overlays.

Thank you for the shortcut key for layer blending modes. New one on me. I am confused though. The title is "How to Turn Photos into Textures in Photoshop", which sounded very intriguing, but the video seems to be about "How to apply textures to photos". Did I miss something?

This isn't turning a "photo into textures". You're just adding textures to a photo. Now show how to extract textures from photos with gaussian blur, apply image and the clone tool.
