Your carved wooden candle holder work is lovely. Can I ask you which type of paints you have used please? Secondly, I want to paint a pair of wooden candle hold in brown colour which gives a dark wood impact and on top of that (brown colour) which second colour should I use to paint. As you have use.

Thank you very much!!! I used #annie_sloan chuck paint 🎨. Graphite colour underneath and duck egg blue on top!!! I would suggest to use a bright colour on top of the brown to achieve a nice depth effect!!! Good luck!!!🙂👍

What do you call the chisel you are using most of the time? The square wedge one? I've not noticed that shape of chisel being used by other wood turners and I have not seen one like it in any wood turner chisel sets.

You are right Ted! This tool is called "Bedan" and it's my most useful and versatile tool! I have many of them which i usually make on my own using just hss steel bars!!!🙂
