Put a few bricks under the pan to get it closer to the lid and add a few pieces of lump charcoal or wood after you lay down the coals to get it more flame and charred on top.
Bro I was watching pizza oven reviews and this popped up. I swear I find out something new I can do with my Weber every week, and I already have a pizza stone!
I haven’t done this in years!!! Ever since I bought my ooni, you’re bringing me back bro, bringing me back. 😎👍🏻👍🏻🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕 Totally throw a little bit of wood chips in for that wood smoke, just a touch, get that hint of wood smoke. $$$$$
Great video bro!! I've been looking for a video that shows how simple it really is to set up a kettle grill for pizza without using any special accessories.
I LOVE YOU... I do not know you... but I love you for making this video... I'm seriously almost in tears... YOU are a God-Send. I could leave that comment and you'll be wondering why this middle age woman is so grateful for finding a video on HOW TO do a Pizza on a plain Grill... I am in the midst of Moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico (US) to RE-OPEN my Acting Studio... we will also have a Mystery Dinner Theatre... What has this got to do with you GREAT video? Thank you for asking... because EVERYONE loves Pizza.... and just re-opening the Acting Studio I can not afford a $3000. oven... and I do not like those "PRENTEND" little ovens that cost up to $500. I always wondered if we could make a Pizza on a Grill... and the WAY you did it is the BEST way... Thank YOU so much for sharing this great video... GOD BLESS YOU!!
Like another commenter, I was looking at pizza oven videos for the Weber Kettle and this came up. I'm going to give this a try before I drop $140. I just bought my Original Premium, barely used on Facebook for $100. It's hard to justify buying an accessory that is more than what I paid for the grill.
Two things: 1. you sound like leafy 2. it looks really good, although to nitpick a bit, the cheese doesn't have much brown. it looks like it was separating before that could happen
My fave; “Two Guy’s” (or is it Two Guys). It was called “Old School”. Meat ball, pepperoni & wait for it… Giardiniera. It’s one of their styles they no longer sell, unless you ask for it. The few pieces of pizza was brought over by a friend who just left left it in the frig, OVERNIGHT. I heated it up the next day & boom! This was my pizza.
Ngl I was thinking the same thing. But eod I think we can all figure out a way to get the pizza out of the grill. Definitely woulda liked to see him try a different technique though LOL
That isn’t even difficult. Just use tongs. Sometimes I’m so lazy I just use the heat resistant glove Im wearing and push it onto a heat rack I carry over.
